Victoria, David Beckham Name Daughter Harper Seven

It’ll now be Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper!

David and Victoria Beckham have decided to name their first daughter Harper Seven.

David made the announcement via Facebook saying, “I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham,” the soccer star, 36, wrote. “She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7:55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx.”

Her numerical middle name is a reference to her dad’s old soccer jersey number when he played for Manchester United and England.

Updated: Victoria And David Beckham Welcome A Baby Girl!

Victoria and David Beckham welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl, this morning!  Their new daughter was born this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.  She weighed in at 7lbs, 10 oz.

Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family,” says Beckham spokesperson Jo Milloy.

Congratulations to the expanding family!  Can’t WAIT to find out her name!

EDITED TO ADD:  The Beckhams have named her Harper Seven!

Victoria Beckham Is Still Pregnant

Despite original reports claiming that Victoria Beckham was scheduled to deliver a baby girl yesterday (July 4), the fashion designer and wife to soccer star David Beckham is still very much pregnant.

Speculation on Twitter had claimed that the former Spice Girl had given birth to a baby-girl named Felicity, but a representative for Victoria and David dismissed the rumors.

Speaking to the UK’s Daily Mail, the spokesperson stated, “The rumours are rubbish, Victoria has not had the baby but she will be giving birth soon”. David’s publicist Simon Oliveria also took to Twitter to deny the allegations, telling followers, “Contrary to certain reports, David and Victoria Beckham’s baby is not due today and that was never the case.”

In this case, the bump watch is still very much on for Victoria Beckham!

Victoria Beckham Says Not To Expect Any Naked Pregnancy Photos

Expectant mom Victoria Beckham has stayed out of the media spotlight throughout her pregnancy and she explains why – and why we shouldn’t expect any of those naked pregnancy belly shots in any magazine anytime soon.

“I’m not really one of those people that likes to go out and pose and flaunt being pregnant. Not like there’s anything wrong in that. I’m so proud to be pregnant and I feel so blessed and so happy, I really do.   But I’m just not that kind of person. So, no, I won’t be taking my clothes off. I don’t think anyone needs to see that, other than my husband [David Beckham]. Absolutely not.”

Victoria also shared that her daughter’s closet is stocked and ready and waiting:

But not in an obnoxious way at all.  I love the French clothes for little girls. I like little girls to look like little girls.”

She shared that she’s like any other mom, just struggling to find that balance:

“As any working mum out there knows, it really is like juggling glass balls when you’ve got the kids and a husband to look after, and you’re passionate about your career.

But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m blessed.”

Can you believe she only has about one more week until her due date?  Rumor has been that she scheduled it for tomorrow, the 4th of July.

Eva Longoria Godmother To Victoria Beckham’s Child

Eva Longoria will soon be playing a very important role…Godmother to Victoria Beckham’s unborn daughter.

A friend of the couple told The Sun newspaper:

“Victoria ran it past David and they both want Eva. She’s extremely honoured.”

Victoria and Eva have been friends over the years.  Last year, Victoria supported Eva through her divorce from basketball star Tony Parker, and in May, Eva threw Victoria a pink-themed baby shower with her hairdresser Ken Paves.

Victoria tweeted after the party:

“Such a lovely day!!!thank u so much @EvaLongoria and @KenPaves for being such wonderful friends.Baby showers are so much fun!!!!!!!x vb (sic)”
