Tom Cruise Stops By 'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart'

Tom Cruise has been busy promoting his newest film, Oblivion, but has made sure that took time to celebrate his daughter Suri’s 7th birthday!  When Ryan Seacrest asked Tom about Suri’s birthday, which is today, he said the party already happened.

Tom shared, “Done already. All done. I take care of the kids early. You’ll know — you have to plan ahead for these things. It’s all done and all celebrated.”

Tom didn’t give an specific details on how they celebrated his youngest daughter’s big day, but he admitted that he loves the sweet treats.   Tom revealed, “I’ll eat cake, cupcakes.  I eat all that stuff!”

If you thought Brooklyn Beckham going on his first date was too much for you to handle on a Monday morning, get a load of this! Tom Cruise’s son Conor Cruise was spotted lighting up a cigarette while with a friend in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday afternoon.

Let’s hope that this is a new habit that Conor extinguishes quickly. We can only wonder what dad Tom is going to say about this when he finds out!

Nicole Kidman Respects Her Kids’ Religious Decisions

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards in LA

Nicole Kidman has remained mum on her two oldest children, Isabella and Connor, since her split from Tom Cruise.  Many speculated that the church of Scientology kept distance between Nicole and her kids, but she has never confirmed or denied those allegations.  After their split Nicole no longer practiced Scientology, but in a recent interview she explains that she remains supportive of her kids’ beliefs.

“I’ve chosen not to speak publicly about Scientology. I have two children who are Scientologists — Connor and Isabella — and I utterly respect their beliefs.”

Reporters have tried for years to get Nicole to open up about the controversy surrounding the church and her separation from her kids, but she stands firm in keeping it private.  I applaud her for that.  I’m sure Isabella and Connor are grateful.

Tom Cruise Buying Suri A New House In NYC

Tom Cruise Whisks Suri Out Of New York In A Helicopter

 

Rumors were flying that Tom Cruise was splashing out more than $20,000 on a fancy playhouse for daughter Suri for Christmas (see video), but the company says that simply isn’t true.  Tom IS buying a Suri a house, but it will cost MUCH more than 20K!  The celebrity dad reportedly splashed out more than $13 million on a home in New York.

Rumor has it that Tom bought the home so that Suri’s large and expensive toys and animals (a pony!) can be close to her since they are still at their home in California.  Now that Suri will be living and going to school in NYC, it makes sense to have those things where she can enjoy them more often.

When you are as famous as Tom Cruise, security is of the utmost importance, especially when there are kids involved.  Tom and his team are so serious about it that applying for a job to work in any position on his team is a rigorous process.

Even just to help run one of Tom’s many homes is a huge job that requires an army of employees.  In order to even be considered for a position, an applicant has to go to the Scientology celebrity center to undergo a series of intense questioning.
