Jillian Michaels left our TV screens this season on The Biggest Loser and she’s been dearly missed. The mother of two sat down with Health Magazine to talk about her departure, her concerns about returning to reality TV, and dished on her new ventures!
Celebrity mom Alison Sweeney had some fun with her kids, Megan and Benjamin, at the premiere of Muppets Most Wanted. The Biggest Loser host walked the red carpet with her two kiddos, posing for pictures before heading inside to check out the movie. Megan is definitely her mommy’s mini-me! Right down to their poses for the cameras!
As Jillian Michaels heads back to work after welcoming two children, Lukensia and Phoenix, this past summer, she’s glad to have a great support system. Jillian returns to The Biggest Loser for the upcoming season, but not without her family.
“I hate being away from them, especially overnight. We travel as a little brood and the new executive producer on The Biggest Loser is a woman, so she is particularly sympathetic and very open to the kids being on set.”
Jillian also shared some of the growth going on with her babies:
“Lu is having a ‘language explosion,’ as her preschool teachers like to say. It’s so cool to listen to her express herself, tell us what she wants, how she’s feeling, what’s on her mind.”
“Phoenix is super aware, babbling constantly. He is able to sit up, roll over, hold his bottle. It’s so amazing watching him gain control of his body and seeing how proud he is about it.”

Alison Sweeney hit the red carpet with her cuties, Benjamin and Megan, on Sunday for the 3rd Annual My Brother Charlie Family Fun event. The Biggest Loser host was all smiles as she posed with her mini-me’s!
It’s crazy to imagine Alison’s schedule when ‘The Biggest Loser’ is shooting, as she’s still very much a part of ‘Days of Our Lives’, as well. Alison has done well picking jobs that have been long-term ones! She’s been a star on DOOL since 1993 – almost 20 years – and she’s been hosting TBL since 2006! Some actors would be envious of such a long gig.

In Prevention magazine, Jillian Michaels opens up about adopting internationally and the struggles she’s encountered along the way.
On adopting internationally: “I honestly don’t know how somebody without money and help could ever get this done. It’s a full-time job. If I called the girls down here to where we’re sitting, they would run you through how many times the notary has been here this week….I regret saying this now, but I think for anyone pursuing this [I’d advise them] to explore foster care in this country. In the US, you get your referral, you bring the kid home. They’re already American citizens. I don’t want to tell people to adopt internationally – but I’ve learned that you’ve got to have tremendous patience and financial resources because it’s going to cost a lot of money. If you don’t have those two things, go domestic.”
