Maggie shared that she’s finally done with the first trimester morning sickness. “I’m past the nausea so I’m feeling a lot better, a lot more energetic. We just finished shooting the season, which is good.”
Maggie stays mum about her husband (whom she married in 2012), but she did share that he is going to be an amazing dad. “He’s going to be a great dad, I know he is. He is very very sweet and fun so he plays a lot of games and he’ll just make the baby laugh a lot. He’s very good-natured. Way better-natured than I am! He laughs a lot, we have such a good time.”
Congrats to the parents-to-be!

Actress and singer-songwriter Katey Sagal, best known for her work on Married with Children and Sons of Anarchy, sits down with Rachael Ray to dish on her musical aspirations, working with her husband, and why she won’t move her kids. Here’s a peek at their interview, airing tomorrow morning.
How Katey feels about working for her husband (Kurt Sutter, creator of Sons of Anarchy): “For those who don’t know, my husband created the show and he’s my boss, but only at work. And I let him be the boss which is actually to my delight because he’s a great writer.”
Katey doesn’t want to move her kids around for a job (on taking a role in a Broadway show): “I probably would. I don’t really have a Broadway type of voice I’m sure they could fit me in somewhere my thing is mostly my schedule because you know I have 2 kids one in college one is a junior in high school and one is 5 years old and I don’t like to move them around.”
Katey shares her craziest fan moment: “A fan came up to us and asked us each to sign his leg. So I wrote “Katey Sagal.” 45 minutes later this guy comes back in line and he had our names tattooed on his legs, but he was ecstatic. He thought it was the best thing ever.”
What Katey’s one “do over” in life would be: “Yes, I would definitely do over. I’m a musician. I play piano and guitar. Not anywhere near accomplished. I would be a jazz pianist or a classical guitarist, I would be an accomplished instrumentalist. I’ve tried to do it at this time in my life, but I just can’t concentrate that way.”
