Some of our favorite and most fashionable celebrity moms stepped out last night for the 2013 MET gala (aka Punk: Chaos to Couture Costume Institute Gala).  Celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker ditched their “morning school run” casual clothes for some glam gowns made by the top designers around!

Some of the famous moms in attendance (and a few dads, too!):  Jennifer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen, Gwen Stefani (and Gavin Rossdale in a plaid suit), Solange Knowles, Katie Holmes, Ivanka Trump and Uma Thurman.

Expectant celebrity Kim Kardashian was feminine and beautiful in her floral print gown with matching shoes.   While Nicole Richie opted for an edgy hair do – spiked up with white/gray/blue coloring.

Solange Says That Her Son Jules And Blue Ivy Carter Are Like Siblings

Awww! Talk about cousin cuteness. According to singer and fashion maven Solange Knowles, her son Jules and her niece Blue Ivy Carter are not only cousins, but are close enough that they are like siblings, too! In a recent interview with New York Magazine, 26-year-old revealed that she and her famous older sibling Beyonce are raising their children to be as close as they are. The families get together at least once a week, so their little ones – Daniel Julez, 8, and Blue Ivy, 9 months — have spent lots of quality time with one another.

She added, “[Blue] and Julez are going to grow up more like sister and brother than cousins. ”Blue comes over, I babysit. And “[Beyonce] takes Julez sometimes for the weekend.”

Solange Knowles Opens Up About Her Niece Blue Ivy

It seems that ever since chart topper Beyonce gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy earlier this year, she’s been the most talked about celebrity baby in the media. Family and friends can’t stop gushing about the almost 6-month-old and now her aunt, Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles is opening up about her little niece, too.

Solange recently revealed to Hollywood Life how she felt while she witnessed her sister Bey give birth to Blue back in January. She said:

“It was beautiful! I mean she’s such an angelic beautiful baby girl. I was there literally when she was born!”

It’s only natural that she was at her sister’s side when she gave birth – after all, Beyonce was there when Solange welcomed her son Daniel Julez 7 years ago.

“I’ve heard her over the years talk about how impactful that was in her life,” she reveals. “And then I totally understood that it is such a surreal amazing moment and it really, really puts life into perspective.”

Celebrity parents turned out for the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards last night in NYC.  The event, which was held at Alice Tully Hall, brought out the biggest fashionistas like Solange Knowles, Doutzen Kroes, Busy Philipps, Padma Lakshmi, Rachel Zoe, Rodger Berman and more!

Solange Knowles Steps Out In NYC

Celebrity mom Solange Knowles was spotted exiting her big sister Beyonce’s apartment in New York City on Wednesday afternoon.

It looks like Aunt Solange dropped by the visit her niece, Blue Ivy. I wonder if she and Beyonce’s best friend Kelly Rowland ever compete as best aunties for little Blue? I’m sure she loves both of them just the same! :-)
