KicKee Pants Butterfly Babies Collection Raising Awareness and Funds for the “Butterfly Disease,” Epidermolysis Bullosa

KicKee Pants line is adorable. Let’s just get that out there.  They are super comfy and just as cute. The company offers playwear, dress up and PJs for babies and kids and I love them!!  Even better…KicKee has recently launched a new collection designed for children with the “Butterfly Disease,” Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) in support of The Butterfly Fund ( Children with the disease are referred to as “Butterfly Children” because their skin is as delicate and fragile as butterfly wings. EB is an inherited disease that affects the skin and other organs, and causes severe blistering of the skin. Because kids with EB so often have to wear their clothing inside out, all items in this collection are constructed with the seams on the outside.

KicKee Pants created the Butterfly Babies collection to raise awareness for little ones suffering with EB. The special collection rocks not just because of the good work it does but because it it supremely comfy for your little ones. Why, you ask? The goods are super soft without seams and tags.  I don’t like tags and seems, but my kids really don’t like them! And this isn’t just some token gesture and promotion.  A full 80% of the profits made from Butterfly Babies will be donated to the Butterfly Fund to help children living with EB!!! The adorable butterfly and dragonfly prints are sure to appeal to moms of all kinds.

In honor of each child and family that has had to confront EB, KicKee Pants will be a sponsor in The Butterfly Bash in Chicago this Saturday, October 26, to help raise funds for the Butterfly Fund. The event is being held during Epidermolysis Bullosa Awareness Week, which occurs annually during the week of October 25 through October 31.

Can you not stand how adorable these are?  C’mon…
