FORBES has released its annual list of The Worlds Most Powerful Women for 2014 and it’s no surprise that several of our favorite celebrity moms are on it! Forbes starts off with a list of more than 250 candidates from around the world and then whittle it down to the 100 most influential women from eight categories: billionaires, business, celebrity, finance, media, philanthropy and NGOs, politics and technology. They use four components to determine the rankings: money, media presence, spheres of influence and impact.
Celebrity mamas stepped out last, putting their best fashion foot forward. The 71st Annual Golden Globe awards brought out the A-list moms in some of the most stunning looks we’ve seen so far this awards season!
Sandra Bullock, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts, Tina Fey, Uma Thurman, Cate Blanchett and more hit the red carpet in their best gowns, shoes and jewelry. We’ve got the photos for you above!
Which mom has the best look of the night? Did you watch the ceremony? Who do you think handled their time on stage the best? Julia definitely showed us that those baby bump rumors were bogus, right?

In the new issue of Glam Belleza Latina, celebrity mom and Modern Family star Sofia Vergara makes it clear how important family is to her. She dishes on hard work, family and celebrating her fortieth birthday in style – with those closest to her!
Sofia on her bilingual appeal:
“For me, it’s so clear. There are millions of hardworking Latinos in the U.S., doing their jobs, willing to try harder to succeed, and taking good care of their kids and family. We all spend, buy, participate heavily in this economy, and support each other. So I am one of them. I made my crossover, but I am still 100 percent a Latina mom.”
Sofia on her relationship with her family:
“They are all so happy for me and supportive. I celebrated my fortieth birthday in Mexico by flying 100 of them in from Barranquilla, Bogotá, Miami, and Los Angeles, and we spent a week partying like crazy. My family is what keeps me going, is my engine, what makes me happiest. For the Emmys I invited 20 of them, and we all went together to the ceremony and the parties and had the best time. Because fame came so early in my life, they don’t read much into it.”
Sofia on what the term Latina beauty means to her:
“I see it more like an attitude. The glam and sexiness of Latinas live in the fact that most of us take great care of ourselves; we make our hair beautiful; we love perfume; we can wear high heels without complaining. I remember my mother and aunts always wearing makeup and looking beautiful even if it was just to drop us off at school.”
