From the minute that Sean Penn and Charlize Theron started dating, the rumors were flying that Sean was going to adopt Charlize’s son Jackson. The actress squashed those rumors and more as she opened up about their break up in the new issue of Wall Street Journal.
Don’t we all wish we could look this good in sweats and UGGS? Charlize Theron was dressed uber casual to run errands with her son Jackson yesterday afternoon. Charlize wore black UGGS with dark gray sweatpants while Jackson sported a bright pink hoodie and winter boots as they stopped at a pharmacy together.
Celebrity mom Charlize Theron and actor Sean Penn have been dating for a short bit and recently went public with their relationship. At first it was reported that they were just friends, then it was portrayed as a fun fling, but now it looks like things are a little more serious..maybe. Charlize has introduced Sean to her son Jackson and the two seem to be quite cozy. Charlize and Sean and Jackson were even spotted doing mundane chores together – like grocery shopping.
The happy threesome were spotted at Whole Food together, with Sean loading up their car with food. Does it seem funny/odd to anyone else to see someone like Sean Penn loading groceries? I don’t know why it strikes me that way because he is just a regular guy.
Sean is a parent, too, but his kids (with ex-wife Robin Wright), Hopper and Dylan, are adults now. Sean’s daughter Dylan is currently dating The Vampire Diaries hottie Steven R. McQueen, who is related to THE Steve McQueen.

Actress Robin Wright won’t put a Hollywood career before her kids.
Focusing so hard on her children, Hollywood stopped knocking on her door offering her roles. Wright raises Dylan, 18, and Hopper, 16, with ex-husband Sean Penn.
“I turned down so many films because I wanted to be a mom that…they stopped -offering,” Robin told Redbook magazine.
“During my divorce, the idea of making plans felt like safety to me. But you know what? Life is just scary, all the time, but it’s joyful, too. And if you can listen to your fears, they’ll tell you where you need to be.
“Everyone has a very different experience with divorce. I was shocked by how my identity totally exploded in my hands, when I’d thought I had such a firm idea of who I was. It was hard not to know what was next on the ride.
“It’s like the high tide, low tide, right? You know it’s going to happen daily — you’re just not quite sure if the Weather Channel was accurate with the times. That’s where the unknowingness flows in and you go, Okay, I have to relax and just give over to it. Because just when you think things are great…. I mean, it’s silly, but on the way here I almost had an accident because I was rushing, mascara wand in the eye while driving.
“The minutia, it triggered the deeper fears about being grounded. I don’t ever feel that kind of fear with my career. Mine is more the personal fear — which is, Are you ever going to get over your s–t, Robin? Are you going to break your patterns? It has nothing to do with the outside: Your career, you didn’t go the star path. I’ve never had anxiety about those questions. I do believe that things happen for a reason.”
