Scout Willis’ Hateful Tweets About Parents Explained

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s 20-year-old daughter Scout Willis was recently using the twitter handle @bougepunk, which included shocking tweets such as, “I hate capitalism like I hate my parents, but they both serve me so well.”

So how does Scout explain these recent tweets? It was a school assignment co-written by Willis and two other students. The account was removed on Thursday (March 8).

A rep confirmed to Us Weekly, “In connection with a class assignment, in which students were asked to create a ‘culture jam’ or ‘hoax,’ three students created a satirical and fabricated Twitter account in which everything tweeted was fictional.”

“This was done to illustrate how social media is utilized and that in today’s social media culture, you can create a significant twitter following based entirely on fabricated lies, and that the more outrageous and controversial the fabricated statement, the more followers you will get.”

The statement concludes: “Current media interest in the fabricated Twitter school assignment appears to prove that point.”

The actor, who is married to the 19 year old’s mom Demi Moore, is seen strumming a guitar in the clip while Scout sings a ballad, entitled My Sober.  Kutcher describes it as a “little song about a loved one” they wrote together, before adding: “I’m an awful guitar player!”

As well as playing the instrument, the actor also adds his vocals to the track, which has become an online hit since it surfaced earlier this week.
