More than 500 Joyrider three-wheeled scooters are being recalled by GLOPO. The front wheels of the scooter can detach when riding, posing a fall hazard.
10 brands of hoverboards and self-balancing scooters are being recalled today! Approximately 500,000 hoverboards are recalled due to the lithium-ion battery packs overheating, posing a risk of the products smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.
K2 Sports is recalling 400 of its K2 Revo Kick kickboards/scooters due to a fall hazard. The front assembly of the kickboards/scooters can break and the handle can detach or partially detach, causing loss of control or loss of balance. This defect poses a fall hazard to the rider.
No injuries have been reported, but the company is offering full refunds to customers.
The scooters were sold at sporting goods stores and online at k2skates.com from March of 2010 until September of 2013. The scooters retailed for $200.
