There is no doubt that Sarah Palin knows a thing or two about raising a family – after all she does have five children and two grandchildren. The one-time Vice Presidential hopeful opened up about her best parenting tips. Here’s what she tells Breezymama.com:
On her advice to mothers: “Enjoy every single moment. It sounds cliché but it’s so true that they grow up so quickly. Our oldest is 23 – he is deployed in Afghanistan right now, a 21 year old, 17 year old, 11 year old and 4 year old. So we have the benefit of being able to experience with our little ones, anew… fresh… knowing… a lot of what they will be going through… in their older years, so we so appreciate every day of the young childhood years because we know it goes so quickly. But every stage is wonderful, enjoyable. And it may seem like a lot of work right now, but… it’s worth it!”
On her children: “They help out so well. We are very, very blessed to have a very large and supportive family, especially with the older siblings helping out with the little ones. We have five generations out there in Alaska, family members helping out.”
On the teenage years: “It’s…it’s exciting and teenagers keep you young… keep you plugged in to what’s going on in our culture – literally. I can’t even pick a favorite stage or year of the kid’s lives. It’s all been amazing and enjoyable.”
