It seems like the whole world has been holding its breath for the past year, hoping that we’d finally get a pregnancy announcement from Prince William and Kate Middleton, but so far… nothing. Now, members of the British Parliament are even putting on the pressure for the Duchess to get pregnant with one saying that it would even be good for the economy if there was a royal pregnancy. Here’s what we’re reading for The Telegraph:
The remarks, which appear to be speculation rather than any insider knowledge, were made during a debate at the Duchess’ former school Marlborough College.
Speaking as part of a panel, MP Claire Perry told an audience of more than 250 people: “I think Kate Middleton is pregnant – and that would be good for the economy.”
Her outspoken comments have already been condemned as “unhelpful” and “none of her business” by Royal observers.
What do you think? Were the comments made out of line?
