Yesterday Rene Angelil was laid to rest after a full Catholic mass in Montreal. Celine Dion and Rene’s oldest son, Rene-Charles, spoke at the service, eulogizing his father. He will turn 15 next week.
Singer Celine Dion is spending some time in Paris with her family this week. Celine was spotted with her husband Rene Angelil, and their children Rene-Charles, Nelson and Eddy yesterday afternoon. Celine and her boys were leaving the George V hotel.
It has definitely been a while since we’ve seen a glimpse of Celine’s sons! Not only have her twins grown by leaps and bounds, but so has their oldest son, Rene-Charles.
Celine has been promoting her work abroad and enjoying the holidays with her family. They will return to Las Vegas at the end of December when she’ll resume shows on the 28th. Have you had a chance to see her live?

Celine Dion and her family were welcomed back to Las Vegas by hundreds of fans yesterday. Celine, husband Rene Angelil, son Rene Charles, and her twin boys Eddy and Nelson, were greeted with welcome back signs by excited fans as she arrived back at Cesar’s Palace for the first time since giving birth.
I can’t believe the twins are four months old already. They are adorable little fellas!

Celine Dion and Rene Angelil have decided on names for their twin sons: Eddy and Nelson. Celine’s rep explained the inspiration for the names. Eddy is named after Eddy Marnay, the producer of her first five albums.
“He was like a father to her. Eddy is a major influence in both Céline and René’s lives.”
And Nelson is named after Nelson Mandela because Celine was so moved by meeting him two years ago.
“René said that in just the few minutes they were able to spend with him, they were impressed by the human being he is.”
Her rep added:
“Céline and René want their children to be inspired by their names, because they were so inspired by these men”

Celine Dion opened to French magazine Gala about her struggle to find perfect names for her twin boys, born this past weekend.
“I’ve read nearly 15,000 names and nothing has stuck.”
“Because René-Charles goes to school in the United States, he’s suggested English first names. My mother, on the other hand, has been hinting about very French first names and we’re going a little bit crazy trying to decide.”
Even though the celebrity mom is already scheduled to get back on the Las Vegas stage in March, she isn’t going to stress one bit about her weight:
I don’t care about my figure. I never have and I’m not worried. In any case, I’m not going on any diet because I want to breastfeed … Besides I have a really good stylist and if it’s a question of going up a dress size or two — well, so be it.”
We can’t wait to hear what names they finally settle on! Congratulations again to the happy family!
