PINK
Explains Why She Named Her Daughter Willow Sage

pink1

I love it whenever we get new interviews from Pink because she’s just full of so many great soundbites. The chart topper is on the cover of this month’s Glamour magazine, where inside she talks about her album, her love life and why she named her daughter Willow Sage. Here are a few highlights:

Why she named her daughter Willow Sage: “I love the idea that a willow tree cannot be snapped or broken. And we burn sage all the time. It clears bad energy.”

Her worst day: “Willow and I were at the pool, and I was taking her to nap time. She was walking just a foot in front of me. And she trips and falls and gets a concussion. She passed out. Cut to an ambulance and fire truck. And a CAT scan. She was about a year old. That was the worst day of my life. And what do they say? ‘Kids fall.’ Welcome to parenthood, I thought. I can’t handle this. I’m fitting her for a bubble. Every time she bounced on the bed, I see stitches. Being a parentis a Jedi mind f—. It’s also the raddest thing ever.”

Her relationship with Carey Hart: “Are things ever good? I don’t believe that exists,” Moore said. “Long-term relationships are an everyday choice. It’s harder to be in a marriage than it is to bounce from one relationship to the next. We’re good because we communicate and we’ve grown up together, not because we don’t fight.”

The family that lunches together, stays together! Chart topper Pink was spotted with her husband Carey Hart and their daughter Willow heading out for lunch while in the Dutch city of Amsterdam on Thursday afternoon.

The couple looks like they are visiting the city in true Dutch style as they were spotted picking up their bicycles together outside of their hotel. Sweet!

PINK
Skips The Grammys For Her Daughter Willow

Exclusive... Pink Grabs Breakfast With Baby Daughter Willow Hart

It looks like Pink has different priorities these days now that she’s a mom. Rather than getting dressed up and hitting the red carpet for the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, the chart topper preferred to stay home and have a mommy and daughter day with her baby girl, Willow. Awww, and that is reason 1,234,000 why I love Pink so much! The celebrity mom wrote on her Twitter account:

“I had the most incredible day. Pancakes, willow, train rides, park, arts and crafts, nap time, baking, kisses. Dancing, music. Life is good.”

Check out the photo Pink made of all of their activities here!

Pink Opens Up About Motherhood In The New Issue Of Redbook Magazine

pink-redbook

Here’s a confession for you: I have a secret girl crush on Pink. I know, it seems highly unlikely, butI just absolutely love her free spirit and her ability to tell people exactly how it is without holding anything back. The chart topper and celebrity mom opens up to Redbook Magazine, where she talks about her career, her husband, and of course her adorable daughter, Willow. Here are some highlights:

On how she reconciled with husband Carey Hart after their  2008 separation:

Eleven months after we broke up, he asked me to fly to Las Vegas to perform on New Year’s Eve at his club. I wanted to see him. And I looked hot. There’s something about breaking up with someone—you just look hotter than you ever did before. I will never look as good as I did those six months after we broke up. Never! [Laughs] Anyway, after sound check I told him that he needed to come to my room. I had made him a photo album of all the cards he had ever given me, of all the photos of our entire relationship. I spent months on this album. On the last page, I pasted a photo of me from a really bad movie I made years ago with my neck slit and blood everywhere. Next to it I wrote, “This is me without you.” On the next page, there was a picture of a baby. And I wrote: “The rest is unwritten.” The divorce papers that we never signed were behind that page. I was like, “The rest is up to you.” And I did all of this in his favorite bra and panties.

On how daughter Willow has changed her life:

That first night in the hospital, she was having a complete meltdown, and Carey was out of it. But this nurse came in and she helped me through the whole thing. We sat up and talked all night with my baby in my arms, and it was like my whole life made sense, for the first time, ever.

On what makes her feel beautiful:

Well, I was always considered butch.  Feeling beautiful to me is when I feel good in my leather pants and my husband grabs my ass. Or when I’m sitting on a mat and my daughter runs to me with complete joy. Beautiful has never been my goal. Joy is my goal—to feel healthy and strong and powerful and useful and engaged and intelligent and in love. It’s about joy. And there’s such joy now.

On her self-confidence:

So a “girl like me” is someone who doesn’t rest on her looks, who has had people tell me from day one, “You’re never going to get magazine covers because you are not pretty enough.”  I’m totally comfortable with that.  I know my strong points: I work hard, I have talent, I’m funny and I’m a good person.

Pink And Carey Hart Grab Lunch With Baby Willow

Actually, I shouldn’t be saying Baby Willow. She’s 1 now and obviously growing by the minute. The adorable little girl was spotted with her famous parents, Pink and Carey Hart as the cute Hollywood family made their way to Geoffrey’s Restaurant in Los Angeles, Calif. for lunch on Sunday afternoon.

I’ve really enjoyed seeing Pink transform into a hands-on mom this past year and I really hope she and Carey give Willow siblings to play with soon. They just look like a really great, down-to-earth couple who put family first in their lives. Honestly, I’m really loving Pink more and more everyday!
