The Spanish actress was spotted along with her husband Javier Bardem and her brother Eduardo visiting their sister Monica at a hospital, as she has just given birth to a baby girl in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday afternoon.

Rumors have been swirling off and on for a while now that Penelope Cruz was pregnant with her second child. Page Six reports today that the rumors are true! Javier Bardem and Penelope are expecting their second child together.
Earlier this month she hit the red carpet and seemed to be covering up much more than usual and also with acupuncture needles in her ear – which is often used to treat nausea. Check out the photos below and tell us if you see a baby bump?
Javier and Penelope tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed their son Leo in January of 2011.
No official word from their reps yet, but it sounds like this is one rumor that just might be true!
UPDATE: The rumors are true! People confirmed that the couple IS expecting their second child together! It should be a fun pregnancy for Penelope, as her sister Monica is also expecting!

Look at how big Leo Bardem has grown! Celebrity parents Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were spotted by photographers as they arrived at Bourget Airport near Paris this afternoon with their almost-two-year-old son.
Penelope and Leo are traveling with Javier as the promotion for his new film “Skyfall” kicks into high gear. Javier stars alongside Daniel Craig (aka James Bond) in the new action flick, which hits theaters in the U.S. on November 9th.

According to celebrity mom Penelope Cruz, happiness for women isn’t necessarily defined by motherhood. The Spanish actress says that women who chose not to have children can be completely satisfied with their lives, too. She talks about it in an interview with the Guardian Newspaper, as well as about the character in her new film, Venuto el Mondo. She says:
On her character “I think this movie is homage to all women, a homage to motherhood. It’s a homage to that relationship of mother and child. A woman that doesn’t want children obviously can be happy without children. But one that wants to have children that much … it’s very difficult for her to be happy. Of course I understood all that before I became a mother. But after you give birth you understand in a much deeper way what Gemma was missing.”
Interacting with set babies while she was still nursing: “Some of these babies were only a week old. And so they were smelling me and that made them want to eat. But I was playing a woman who couldn’t feed because she hadn’t given birth! That created a very strange but alive dynamic between me and those babies. You cannot learn something like that. And this film is full of moments that could not be planned.”
On life as a working mother: “More and more I try to be more picky with my selection. I am now able to choose the work I do, which I don’t take for granted.”

One of our favorite Spanish actresses and celebrity moms, Penelope Cruz, is lashing out at other moms who are pushing their kids into the entertainment world. The actress, who has a 20-month-old son Leonardo, with actor husband Javier Bardem insists that she will never sell pictures of her son or any of her future children to magazines because she wants them to grow up away from the spotlight. She says:
”I’m 100% against that. Children aren’t a handbag. I want my son and my kids – if I have more – to grow up in a way that is as anonymous as possible,” she tells.
“The fact that his father and I have chosen to do the work we do doesn’t give anybody the right to invade our privacy.”

According to Bang Showbiz, the Spanish media is all over the story, claiming that Penelope is indeed pregnant with her second baby. Spanish TV program Espejo Publico claim a source close to the couple, as well as an insider who has been working with the actress in Madrid, have confirmed the brunette beauty is three months pregnant.
