Stylish School Run With Zuma

Gwen Stefani Drops Zuma Off At School

Zuma Rossdale looked happy to be done with school for the day!  Zuma was picked up this afternoon by his mom, singer Gwen Stefani.  The two were photographed heading back to their car together.   It looks like Zuma is one of the millions of fans of Jake and the Neverland Pirates, judging by his clothing choice today!

Gwen will be around L.A. a lot more for a while, as No Doubt put their tour on hold.  They shared in a blog post that they had become inspired to write some music, so they put things on pause.

They wrote, “After spending three years recording the last album, this new pace feels incredibly exciting. We have decided to follow our muse for the time being and focus on this new music that we don’t want to stop. So, we will be postponing our tour plans briefly while we endeavor to create something special and inspired. Our goal as a band is to share this new music with you as quickly as possible – both recorded and live on tour.”

Zuma Rossdale Joins His Mother Gwen Stefani And Her Band No Doubt On Stage

It looks like we have a little rocker on our hands here! But then again, when your mom is Gwen Stefani and your dad is Gavin Rossdale, there’s a good chance that you might become a rocker at heart too! Little Zuma Rossdale joined his mom and her band No Doubt on stage for a sound check on the Ellen DeGeneres show earlier this week. Before hitting the stage, Gwen told Ellen about Zuma’s musical talents by saying this:

“Since he was tiny, he’s always played guitar–well, he doesn’t really play guitar, but he thinks he does.”

Gwen Stefani Shares How Parenthood Influenced No Doubt’s New Album

Gwen Stefani and her group No Doubt have all become parents during their time together (and apart). The singer and fashionista shares how their families helped to shape the direction of their new album, Push and Shove.

Gwen shared with Access Hollywood:  “I think it’s when we got together to write, [that] was our moment to kind of escape and just be creative and not think about that for a minute and then go back and think about it again.”

She says the song ‘Settle Down’ covers a bit of that balance between work and career. “It’s overwhelming to try to do everything. It is impossible. So there’s a lot of that in the record.”

Guitarist Tom Dumont shared, “There’s a lot of kids between us so we’re pulled in many different directions but we’re so proud of this record and we put a lot of time into it. ”

“I’ve never been able to balance being a mum and my singing career – it’s a nightmare,” Gwen, who has kids Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 3, with her husband Gavin Rossdale, tells Closer magazine. “I love my boys, so if there’s a decision to make, they come first.”
