Nicole Richie Talks About Giving Her Children A “Traditional” Upbringing”

Nicole Richie has sure come a long way in the past five years or so, hasn’t she? She’s definitely a much more different person than what we saw when we first met her on “The Simple Life” with her former pal Paris Hilton. It looks like motherhood and family life has really changed her for the better and that she definitely is more happier than she used to be.

The socialite and fashion maven, who has two children, Harlow, 4, and Sparrow, 3, with Joel Madden, opens up to DuJour Magazine about her current life, motherhood, and how she plans on raising her kids. Here are a few highlights of what she says:

“One of the biggest differences in the way I’m raising my kids versus the way I was raised is that I was on tour a lot. I don’t really do that with my kids. It’s important to me that they have stability. I like them to be home.”

She adds:

“There’s no right or wrong way to raise a family. Look, I don’t know anyone who can say they don’t just try and do the best that they can do.”
