According to Nick Lachey, fatherhood has changed his life so much that he believes he’s become a better man with his new job title. The chart topper opens up about how his life has changed since his son Camden was born almost eight months ago. He says:

“I had a lot of expectations for what fatherhood would be because I thought about it for so long but when it happens, it blows your mind every day. This little creature that you created, that looks to you and depends on you, and just brings you so much joy, you just can’t put it into any kind of words. Your kids are the biggest blessing you could ever possibly have in life.”

Nick also admits there was nothing that could have prepared him for that moment when his son was born. “I broke down and cried like a sobbing child,” he says.

Ahhh, how sweet! 🙂

NICK LACHEY
He Doesn’t Want To Raise His Son In Los Angeles

Nick Lachey won’t raise his son in Los Angeles.  While the 98 Degrees singer currently resides in the city with his wife Vanessa and son Camden, the couple plan to move to his home town of Cincinatti, Ohio, when the seven-month-old tot gets a little older. He told ABCNews.com:

“I’ve never embraced the idea of raising my kid in Los Angeles. Vanessa and I share a common understanding that family is the most important thing and we both appreciate the idea of raising our kids around their grandparents and cousins. I can’t wait until my kids and my brother Drew’s kids arerunning through the woods together like we used to. It’s going to be a lot of fun to watch them grow up together!”

Nick also revealed he and Vanessa want more children in the next few years. He said:

“We’ve definitely talked about having more than one [baby] and having one has only strengthened that. But my brother and I are almost three years apart, so I thought that was a nice age difference. Fatherhood is far better than anything I could have imagined. I want to support [Camden] in whatever he wants to do in life.”

OMG. Is this not the cutest album cover you’ve ever seen? Those big blue eyes (and I’m talking about both daddy and son here!). Nick Lachey recently posted on the cover of his new album with his son Camden and let me tell you, we are just melting here!

Nick’s new solo album, A Father’s Lullaby, which features a mix of 12 original tracks (“Another Day Is Done”] and kid-friendly covers (“You Are My Sunshine,” “When You Wish Upon a Star”), the first-time dad, 39, describes his new project — a partnership with Fisher Price – as a “special tribute” to his 5½-month-old baby boy, who was born on Sept. 12.

We can’t wait to get our hands on this one!
