Twins Love Being On Set

Neil Patrick Harris & David Take Their Twins For A Stroll

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka don’t need to explain to their twins, Gideon and Harper, 3,  what their jobs are because they get to see it first-hand.

The “How I Met Your Mother” star explained, “I don’t have any reason to tell them what we do for a living.  They’ve come to set. They know the crew. They got to come to the Tony rehearsals and watch the Cinderella dancers with all of their finest gownery and do their dancing, which was cool.”

He says the twins love to be creative, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll follow in their footsteps.    “They love to run around and dance and they’re encouraged to dress up in princess outfits and stuff, but  they’re also young, so they run up and down aisles and think that’s as equally as amusing.”

Did you watch the Emmy Awards last night?  How do you think he did as host?

Neil Patrick Harris Calls His Twins By Smurf Names

Neil Patrick Harris is set to star in the all-new Smurf movie and it seems to have rubbed off on him.

The 38-year-old actor said working on the flick inspired him to create some nicknames for his 9-month-old twins, Harper Grace and Gideon Scott.

“I think Gideon would be Stout Smurf, because he’s all like ‘grrr’. He’s like the tank,” Harris said. “And Harper’s just like Beautiful Smurf. She’s an eye-batter right now. She’s wanting to hug and smile and get a smile back, so she’s very good at it.”

A little too much? Perhaps. But cute nonetheless.
