Angelina Jolie Has Bad Parenting Habits

Angelina Jolie may be one of the best looking moms in Hollywood, but once you get a load of her disgusting habits, you may have to give that a second thought!

Here are a list of Jolie’s gross habits:

1. “When Angelina’s kids get cuts and scrapes, she saves their discarded bandages in a large jar,” a friend tells the mag. “She thinks she’s being edgy and artistic.”

2. The friend also reveals that Angie is known to spend hours at a time shopping online for “thousands of dollars worth of clothes and jewelry.”

3. “No one is to bother her” while she’s exercising in her basement, an employee reveals. “She locks herself [down there] every day and exercises for hours.” The employee adds that Angie uses her excessive regimen as an escape from her family.

4. While on a recent trip to London, Angie and Brad reportedly left their entire brood locked up in their hotel room — with supervision — and went out drinking. A second report claims the Jolie-Pitt kids stayed on an entirely separate floor from their parents during their stay in Budapest.

Tori Spelling Shares Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe

Former 90210 star Tori Spelling recently blogged her favorite turkey day recipes including one from husbandt. Dean McDermott.

Dean’s Trois Layered Turkey

Ingredients

Whole Turkey
Salt
Pepper
Fresh Sage
Canola or sunflower oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350
Remove skin from turkey and set aside. Try to keep in one piece. Then remove breasts and set aside. And, finally remove dark meat from all bones and set aside. Discard bones.
Lightly oil the bottom of your largest casserole / baking dish.
Place turkey skin in bottom of dish. And lightly dust with meat glue (transglutaminase), a naturally occurring enzyme in plants and animals that reacts with protein to form a “glue.” FDA approved and all-natural, you can buy it online at Modernistpantry.com)
Then lay the dark meat on top of the skin as a second layer. Lightly dust dark meat with meat glue.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and finely chopped sage.
Place turkey breast as the third layer on top of dark meat.
Cover dish with Saran wrap.
Place another empty casserole dish on top of your Saran wrapped dish and add weight to it such as soup cans.
Place in refrigerator overnight
When ready to cook, remove weight and casserole dish and Saran wrap.
Flip onto cutting board. Skin side will now be facing upward
With a very sharp knife cut into 2 1/2 x 4 inch rectangles
In a hot pan, add sunflower or canola oil (they have a high smoke point – the point at which your fat starts to burn).
Lightly season your turkey rectangles with salt, pepper, and finely chopped sage.
Place skin side down in hot pan. Cook until skin is crispy, approximately 8 to 12 minutes (time varies with different stoves).
When skin is nice and crispy, flip and cook other side. This side is your white meat and cooks quicker (approximately 5 to 7 minutes)
When done, place in a 350 degree oven uncovered to finish the cooking and keep warm. Cook until internal temperature is between 170 and 180 degrees. If you don’t have a thermometer, you can just cut into the center to make sure it’s cooked all the way through.
Serve with cranberry ginger orange sauce (recipe to follow)

Cranberry Ginger Orange Sauce
Ingredients

12 oz. bag fresh cranberries
3/4 cup orange juice
1 cup brown sugar
Zest of one orange
1/2 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook on medium heat for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, or until liquid is reduced.
Stir occasionally.
Remove from heat and serve over Trois Layered Turkey.

Jennifer Hudson Says Her Fiance Saved Her Life

Unfortunately for Jennifer Hudson, her mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and 7-year-old nephew Julian King were murdered in 2008. And it’s her fiance, David Otunga, who she claims saved her life.

Otunga convinced Hudson to visit him in Florida on the day of the tragic event.

“That’s one of the things that saved my life, because I could have been home with my mom then,” Hudson says in Ebony‘s November/December issue. “He wanted me to come out to Florida with him instead of going to Chicago.”

“I flew out to see him; that’s why I’m still here. I’ve never said that before, and I can’t believe I just said that now. But I didn’t know. He was just like, ‘I’m going to this wrestling thing, and it’s in Tampa. I’m going out there now, so you can come out there and see me versus going home.’ ”

How Your Favorite Celebrities Are Celebrating Thanksgiving

Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities are up to on the holidays? Here is a list of some of our favorite celebrity moms and dads and the plans they have for this Thanksgiving.

JENNIFER LOPEZ, 42 (American Idol): I’m just going be with my babies [Max and Emme, 3]. We’ll cook a turkey, which will be good, and then we’ll eat it!

KYLE RICHARDS, 42 (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills): My sister Kim and I have competitions with our turkeys on Thanksgiving, and my sister Kathy loves my famous mashed potatoes. I really have fun  cooking during the holidays. My kids love to help me. It’s just family tradition to have everyone cooking together, and we have holiday parties as well.

JANE LYNCH, 51 (Glee): A lot of eating! We eat with friends. We like the basics, the good stuff — the turkey and all that. But our friends bring new and weird things to dinner. Last year someone brought a pork butt! And it was delicious! Shaking it up on Thanksgiving!

MARK CONSUELOS, 40 (Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays): I’m looking forward to turning off the phones, shutting off Twitter and relaxing.

KENDRA WILKINSON, 26 (E! reality star): Being together and staying at our house as a family for once — just me,Hank and baby Hank — that’s all we need this year. I tried to cook last year and it was a huge mess. I tried to make homemade stuffing and it was the worst, nastiest mistake I ever made.

DAVID ARQUETTE, 40 (Dancing With the Stars): I love seeing my family. We all live in the same city, but life happens, so we don’t tend to see the whole group that often. I’m a big turkey eater. And I love sweet potatoes!
