- To be honest, I can picture Matthew McConaughey being the type of father who likes to tell his kids never-ending stories during bed time. He just seems like the type of guy who likes to tease in a very light-hearted way. So sweet!

Camila McConaughey opened up recently about her exhausting schedule, mothering three kids and her excitement over getting back to routine, anonymous life in Texas.
Camila, who is now mom to Levi, Vida, and Livingston, shared that her life revolves around breastfeeding and little sleep. “It’s three little ones that need mom all at the same time. I’m running to dinner, running back to breastfeed, go do this, run back to breastfeed, breastfeed all night, start your day at 5 a.m., lack of sleep — all of it.”
The celebrity mom and wife of actor Matthew McConaughey says that their family is headed back home to Texas now that Matthew is finished with his latest film. She explains why they love being Austin instead of L.A. “It’s great for [Levi and Vida] because they really get to have a regular life. People are not looking at them — they’re not impressed by anything. You go inside of a restaurant, no one’s turning their faces, looking at the door every five minutes to see who’s coming in. Everybody’s really doing their own thing.”
Sounds like a slice of heaven for anyone famous who wants a little normalcy!

Camila Alves gave birth to her third child, son Livingston McConaughey, back in December. The mom of three shared today on The View that her third pregnancy wasn’t an easy one. Camila even revealed that a C-Section became necessary.
Camila explained, “This time around it has been a really tough recovery. I had a really tough pregnancy. I had all kind of things happen. Throughout the whole pregnancy I had really strong pains and I kept telling the doctors. We kept trying to figure out what it was, what was happening. Nobody could figure out what it was. So, we ended up having to do a C-section. I told the doctor right before, ‘Once I’m there, just take a look because I know something’s wrong.’ They ended up finding all kinds of things in there that we had to take care of.”
The recovery process has been a challenge for the active mom. “This recovery has been extremely hard because I had a C-section and then I had all these extra procedures. I can’t even pick up my kids, really. I really have to be careful. I’ve got another four weeks to go.”

Now that Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are the parents of three kids, things continue to shift in their priorities. Matthew, who is at the Sundance Film Festival promoting his latest flick, shared that he is all about doing his job and then going home to his family.
Matthew explained, “When you’ve got family, you have to pick your extracurriculars. Whoever has kid knows that, man. You have to pick and choose and go wait, which is the one I really want to do because I ain’t watching all the Saturday’s football and I’m not watching all of Sunday’s. I’m not going to be a kayaker, a snow skier and a marathon runner. No, you gotta zero in when you got kids and a family.”
The father of three says that not even producing interests him, he just wants to stick to being an actor and leaving it at that. “I’m really enjoying being an actor for hire. I’ve been offered to produce some things and I’ve said, ‘No thank you.’… I’m really enjoying my time getting ready for a role, my man, my characters, going to work, doing my best to nail it, finishing work and going, ‘That was a beautiful time. Thank you. See you down the road. I’m going back to my family.”

According to reports, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have welcomed their third child together this morning. Camila has given birth – possibly to a baby girl – in Austin, Texas on December 28th.
Matthew’s reps haven’t confirmed the news yet, but several outlets have confirmed sources close to the couple sharing the happy baby news.
The celebrity couple are also parents to Levi, 4, and Vida, 2.
Matthew is currently on a break from filming “Dallas Buyers Club” while he puts more weight back on after filming the scenes where he is ill, which is why he was so scary skinny recently!
UPDATE: Camila and Matthew welcomed a SON, they shared. “Camila gave birth to our third child yesterday morning. Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey was born at 7:43 a.m. on 12.28.12. He greeted the world at 9 lbs. and 21 inches. Bless up and thank you for your well wishes. Happy New year, and just keep livin, Camila and Matthew McConaughey.”
