What a crazy night at the premiere of Maleficent in Los Angeles last night! Not only did a number of celebrity parents and kids turn out for the big event, but celebrity harasser Vitalii Sediuk did as well! Vitalii is known for pulling plenty of distasteful pranks at celebrity events, but last night celebrity dad Brad Pitt was his target.
As Angelina Jolie gears up for the release of her new film “Maleficent“, the celeb mom took some time to chat with a group of mom bloggers – including our sister site Lady & the Blog. Angelina dished with the moms about everything from casting Vivienne (and the lengths Brad had to go to in order to get her to do a certain scene), to balancing work and kids and much more.
Celebrity mom Angelina Jolie was very excited to play the role of Maleficent and she reveals that she spend a lot of time trying to perfect everything from her voice to her mannerisms. The mom of six often used her kids as inspiration and to gauge how the character was developing. She shared with Entertainment Weekly, “I loved being Maleficent. I was quite sad to put my staff down and put my horns away because somehow, she just lives in a different world. But I did have to take my staff home to practice walking with it in my cloak, and then I would go outside and scream at the bushes to expand my voice and play with my voice. So, mom was a bit nutso for a period.”

Angelina Jolie gave fans a treat at Disney’s D23 Expo this weekend. The celebrity mom of six stopped by to show of a clip of her upcoming movie “Maleficent“. She shared with the audience that she loved to be in costume, but the little kids around set were not so excited about it!
Angelina shared that she was scaring the kids, “These little kids would visit the set, and I would think, ‘Oh, I am a Disney character,’ so I would go over to them, and say, ‘Hi there,’ They would just scream. One little kid even said, ‘Mommy, please make the mean witch stop talking to me.’ ”
The only tot not terrified of Angelina was daughter Vivienne. “Vivienne was the only 4-year-old who didn’t scream when she saw me.”
Angelina shared that why she signed on for the role, “Since I was a little girl, Maleficent was always my favorite. I was terrified of her, but I was so drawn to her,” Jolie said. “She had this elegance and grace, and yet she was so cruel. Just wonderfully and deliciously cruel.”
