MATT DAMON
School Run With Stella; Teaming With Ben Affleck Again

Exclusive... Matt Damon Out And About In LA With His Family

Matt Damon has only been living permanently in L.A. with his family for a short time and we’ve already seen more pics of him than we had while he was living in NYC!  Here’s Matt and his wife Luciana taking their youngest daughter Stella to school on Friday afternoon.  Stella is going to be celebrating her third birthday this month!

In other Damon news, Matt is teaming up with Ben Affleck on a new project, but it’s not co-starring in another film!  The two BFFs are producing a television show for CBS.  The half-hour comedy is called  “More Time with Family”.  It will feature a dad who gives up his career in order to stay home and spend more time with his family.  After he makes the transition, he realizes his family never asked him to do that for them.

MATT DAMON
Enjoys Some Down Time With His Family

Matt Damon And Family Relaxing Poolside In Miami

Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso are enjoying a family getaway in Miami.  The celebrity dad took his four girls to the Fountainebleu hotel in Miami for a little R&R.  Matt and Luciana were spotted poolside with their girls, Gia, Alexia, Stella, and Isabella, having a blast with other family members – including grandparents and more.

Matt just wrapped up filming on “Monuments Men” with George Clooney and is getting ready to start shooting his next movie, “Interstellar” with an all-star cast!  Matt will be filming the Sci-Fi movie in Canada and Iceland alongside Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Matthew McConaughey and more!  Sounds like it’ll be an interesting flick!  Hopefully the shoot won’t take too long, because Matt has shared how much he hates to be away from his girls.

MATT DAMON
Prepping His Family For Move To L.A.

Matt Damon Takes Daughter Stella For A Walk

Matt Damon is planning a big move with his wife and daughters!  The actor is planning a move to Los Angeles from their home in NYC.  The Elysium star explains why he and Luciana are relocating from the Big Apple and shares how his daughters are taking the news.

Matt shared that his girls are mostly excited, but a little hesitant.   “Our oldest one is excited. The younger ones, I think it’s kind of hard for them to grasp it. They’ll have a yard, and they’re really excited about that. That’s not something you get [in New York City].”

Matt explains why they are making the leap to the West Coast.  It may include wanting to be closer to BFF Ben Affleck and his family.  “Basically all of our friends with little kids are out there [in L.A.]. We’re a little conflicted. We love it here, we’re really happy here and New York will always be here. It might just turn out to be a little jaunt out there and then a return…It’s hard to leave here.”

Matt has enjoyed so much privacy in NYC that I’m a little shocked that he’d want to move to L.A. where the paparazzi are much more present – especially where good friends Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are concerned!

BRAD PITT
Jealous That Matt Damon Gets To Walk His Kids To School

Ocean's 13" Foot and Handprint Ceremony

Brad Pitt and Matt Damon are both talented A-list actors and family men.  In a recent interview with Esquire, Matt touched on the subject of tabloid interest and paparazzi presence.

Matt shared that Brad is jealous of his ability to take his kids to school and live a relatively normal life away from the spotlight.    “I look at Brad – and I have for years – and when I’m with him I see the intensity of that other side of it. And the paparazzi and the insane level of aggression they have and their willingness to break the law and invade his space – well, I wonder about that trade. I remember telling him that I walk my kids to school, and his face just fell. He was very kind, but he was like, ‘You b**tard’. Because he should be able to do that, too. And he can’t.”

Matt explains that part of the reason is his choice of life partner, “I got lucky, I fell in love with a civilian. Not an actress and not a famous actress at that. Because then the attention doesn’t double – it grows exponentially.”

Luciana Barroso isn’t the only reason the paparazzi give him some breathing room.  “But I don’t really give them anything (to report on). If I’m not jumping up and down on a bar, or lighting something on fire, or cheating on my wife, there’s not really any story to tell. They can try to stake me out, but they’re always going to get the same story – middle-aged married guy with four kids. So as long as that narrative doesn’t change too much, there’s no appetite for it.”
