Actress LeeLee Sobieski and her husband Adam Kimmel are celebrating their daughter Louisanna Ray’s 2nd birthday today!
LeeLee gave birth to Louisanna in NYC in 2009. There is some discrepancy over the date of Louisanna’s birthdate – some sites say December 15th, while others state the 16th.
So, either yesterday or today the tot turned two! Either way – Happy Birthday to Louisanna!!!

Slender actress Leelee Sobieski walked home after a trip to the local grocery market in the TriBeca area of New York on Thursday (July 21). The Joy Ride actress gave birth a baby girl in December 2009. And after 18 months, Sobieski looks like she never even carried a child!

Actress Leelee Sobieski is trying her hardest to keep her daughter Louisanna, 1, more interested in books and playing on her own than spending time sucked into a TV or computer.
“No Baby Einstein and no anything else. Right now she watches this one song called “The Elephant Song“ on the computer. It’s paper cut-outs that are animated so it’s more like a cartoon. And then she watches a five minute clip … of The Red Balloon — the French short film. And that’s it.”
She won’t shield her from all technology, but she just doesn’t agree with the small kids running around with adult-sized gadgets:
“I don’t want her to not be able to talk with her friends about what’s going on, but I really want to encourage the reading and the playing. A lot of kids now in New York I see can open an iPhone before they can even walk practically. [They do] the finger slide.”

LeeLee has two new films that will be released this year “The Mad Cow” and “The Last Film Festival” and she is getting ready to start filming a new TV movie “Rookies“.

Actress Leelee Sobieski shared her thoughts on motherhood with the upcoming issue of People magazine. The ‘Public Enemies’ actress and her fiancé Adam Kimmel became parents to Louisianna Ray (Lewi for short) eight months ago and they are completely fascinated by her.
“I’m really seeing her curiosity come out now — she just looks so smart. If she laughs, I laugh. If I heard myself talking a year ago, I’d be like, ‘So boring!’ But that’s what happens. My baby is really fascinating to me.”
Leelee and her husband didn’t go gaga with the pinks and purples when decorating their daughter’s room. The couple opted for blue instead, simply because they both had blue rooms growing up. Leelee also went for a jungle theme bedding set instead of a frilly, lacy one because she figured it’d be much more interesting for a baby to look at. To go with the jungle theme, Lewi has a 9 ft tall giraffe in her room.
“She touches it and she backs up laughing,”
