Sherri Shepherd is going to have to keep writing those child support checks for another 17 years or so. The court denied her request to appeal a court ruling that declared her the legal mother of the child she and her then-husband, Lamar Sally, had carried by a surrogate.
Funny lady and The View co-host Sherri Shepherd sits down with Rachael Ray to talk babies and marriage in an episode airing on Monday, October 1st. Sherri dished in her typical hold-nothing-back humor. Here’s a first look at the interview.
Sherri on her next baby: “And I’m trying to have another baby you know, I’m still trying to have another baby, still looking for a uterus. I’ll give you a free weave and a Hyundai for a year. I don’t know how we’re going to have this baby because I’m in my forties and I can’t even remember my first son’s name but I’m going to have another baby because I’m feeling good.”
Sherri’s husband (writer Lamar Sally) on getting a “different woman” every night: “The problem with wearing a wig is when I get home I take it off and I fling it so he wakes up in the morning and sees this big piece of hair so he’s… the thing is he doesn’t complain because he says it’s like he has 9 wives because I am like a different woman every night with the hair.”
How Sherri spent her 1st wedding anniversary: “We didn’t do anything specifically special. We went to Karaoke.”
Sherri on how she finds time to spend with her hubby: “We calendar it. Can you believe it? In fact I think I’m supposed to be having sex tonight. I find being married it takes saying “no” to a lot of stuff cause my husband said to me “I get 2nd best”
