Courtney Love Wishes She Could’ve Been A Better Mom

Courtney Love and her daughter Frances Bean Cobain parted ways in 2009 when Frances left to be cared for by her late father, Kurt Cobain’s, family.

When probed to discuss Frances‘ inability to read until the age of seven, Courtney says, “It was my fault. I never read to her. Why didn’t I ever take her to a Broadway show? She f***ing loved those Broadway musicals!”

“All I can feel is how much I love her. I’d give anything to hear the sound of her heels walking down the hall past my bedroom,” the former Hole frontwoman says regretfully.

“I swore I’d never be like my mother but I’m just the same. She threw it all away and I threw it all away.”
