Katie Holmes And Daughter Suri Leaving The Music Box Theatre

It looks like these two had a fun mommy and daughter date night! ’Jack And Jill‘ actress Katie Holmes was spotted leaving the Music Box theater with her daughter Suri Cruise after her matinee and took her out with a group of friends to eat in New York City on Friday afternoon. Suri was even spotted eating an apple before heading to the restaurant.

We haven’t really seen Suri out at night much lately, now have we? It looks like she’s sticking to her bedtime schedule, but with a few exceptions of course. It was the weekend after all!

Celebrity kids are born into the lap of luxury.  The offspring of such stars as Katie Holmes, Beyonce and Jay-Z, Gavin Rossale and Gwen Stefani, and so many more are living a life we can only dream of.  And rocking closets full of clothes worth more than some of us make in a year!

Suri Cruise Shows Off Her Cell Phone

Kids these days!  I remember being shocked when parents started buying their young kids iPads and then they started carrying cell phones at younger and younger ages.  It seems Suri Cruise, 6, has the jump on them all, as she was spotted chatting away in the park on her cell phone this week.

I’m sure Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise set it up for her so that she could talk to her dad anytime she wants since he’s off filming a new movie.

What do you think abut kids as young as Suri having cell phones? Sign of the times?

Nicole Kidman Says “All My Kids Are Highlights Of My Life”

Nicole Kidman, celebrity mom of four, spent some time correcting rumors about Katie Holmes‘ divorce and gushing about her love for her four kids, Bella, Connor, Sunday, and Faith.

Nicole shared about being a mom:

“I’m amazed that I have been a mother for so much of my life now. It’s odd, but because of them I don’t feel 45.”

On the trouble she had with trying to conceive:

“I had tried and failed and failed. Every woman who has been through all those ups and downs knows the depression that comes with it. So the way it just happened with Sunday was like, ‘What?’ The percentages were so low. It is the miracle in my life.  All my kids are highlights of my life. They are all of my biggest joys.”

She tells WHO magazine that the rumors that she was helping Katie Holmes out during her divorce from Tom Cruise simply is untrue.

“I never spoke to her. I wish all of them well, but I was not involved in any of that.,”

Suri Cruise Is Learning Mandarin At Her New School

It looks like Suri Cruise really is getting a high quality education at her new school. It is being reported that the 1st grader has started learning Mandarin and is studying Chinese culture.

“Suri is going to be learning Mandarin,” a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “She is the program for the Lower School which focuses on Chinese, and this is a great foundation for her.”

Kudos to her mom Katie Holmes for giving her the opportunity to learn a new language early on in her life. We think it’s great! :-)

Are Katie Holmes And Suri Cruise Moving To Brooklyn?

It seems like Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise might be ditching the big city for a hip borough. After having been photographed spending quality time at a few Brooklyn parks, there’s a new rumor that Katie and Suri might be moving to Brooklyn where they can live a more “normal” life away from the paparazzi.

The actress, along with daughter Suri and a bodyguard, were spotted shopping for bargains at Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg on Sunday, unnoticed by the crowd. A fellow shopper the New York Post’s Page 6, “Katie and Suri looked relaxed and happy as they looked over all the things on sale. I didn’t see her buy anything, but I’d put money on her moving to Brooklyn because, despite the huge crowds, nobody seemed to care who she was.”

Actually, I think it would be a great idea if Katie and Suri moved to Brooklyn. From what I’m hearing, it’s a great place to raise children these days. :-) What do you guys think?
