Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri spent the day at the beach in Miami yesterday. They were snapped outside their hotel as they played in the sand and hit the water together.
The girls are in Miami with Tom Cruise as he films his new project “Rock of Ages”.

I can’t even fathom that five-year-old Suri Cruise has a shoe collection worth over $100,000!
A source said:
“Suri has so many designer shoes.
“She’s a massive fan of Marc Jacobs and she’s had several shoes custom-made, so if they didn’t come with a heel, Katie had them redesigned for Suri. She commissioned a pair of Louboutins for her a while back!”
I mean can you imagine a five-year-old that knows about Marc Jacobs and Louboutins? The only shoe designer I knew at five was Payless. ha!
And the little tyke seems to be attracted to wearing only heels.
The insider added to Britain’s Star magazine:
“The older she gets, the less she wants to wear anything but little heels.
“Even when she’s going to play dates or walking on the beach, she cries if Katie reaches for anything but a little pair of sandals with some sort of heel. She literally cries, ‘No, Mama, no!’ And then points to whatever pair she feels like wearing – no matter how inappropriate!”
“Tom loves seeing his little girl dressed up so girlie and cute. He encourages her to wear frilly dresses and tiny heels. He says Suri is growing up to be as fashionable as her mum.
“Everything’s pink. She’s a young girl who knows what she wants.”
And not only does she know what she wants, but she knows what she wants for other people – like her mom Katie Holmes and dad Tom Cruise – to who she suggests what they should be wearing.
The source said:
“It’s hard keeping up with a growing girl. Suri sometimes picks out the shoes her mum should wear, and then picks out shoes for her dad.
“They genuinely seem to value her opinion and want her to make her own decisions.”

Katie Holmes hired Tom Cruise’s adopted 18-year-old daughter Isabella to help her with her fashion line – and Tom thinks it’s “wonderful.”
He said:
“It’s wonderful. Kate’s designing and Bella is just working her way up.
“She’s an artist, Bella, so it’s really great that she gets to work with it. She’s loving it.”
He added:
“This is my wife’s company, so you talk about movie sets with me, I can tell you about that.”
When asked about Isabella’s role, he added to People:
“You’ve got to go to all these different factories and verify and make sure you get the correct clothes.”
Katie’s fashion line is Holmes & Yang, created with her stylist Jeanne Yang, with the air of creating pieces working mothers can “depend on”.
Jeanne said recently:
“Sometimes when life gets really busy you don’t want to have to think about what it is you’re going to wear and you just want to have certain pieces that you know you can just depend on – what are those pieces? – and so that was kind of our challenge.
“Both of us are working moms, so we’re pretty busy, and, having a line, being moms and then having our careers is quite a lot.”

Rumors are swirling that Katie Holmes is planning on having another baby, but they are false!
According to the actress – who raises daughter Suri with husband Tom Cruise, and is a stepmom to Tom and Nicole Kidman‘s adopted children, Isabella (18) and Connor (16) – she already has her hands full.
“They’re great kids, a great brother and a great sister to Suri, and she’s a great sister to them,” Katie said.
“It’s not, ‘This is stepmotherhood and this is motherhood’.
“I’m not worried about it [having a new sibling for Suri]. She’s got really good friends and great cousins, so I feel happy about it.
“We have a really busy household, and it’s really fun and fulfilling. There’s always something going on.”

Celebrity parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are celebrating the fifth birthday of their youngest daughter Suri today! Hands-on mom Katie shared recently that they will spend the day making a cake together and having a tea party. Suri also planned on having some friends over for a swimming party at their L.A. home.
Also celebrating a birthday today is Grier Henchy, daughter of Brooke Shields and husband Chris Henchy. Grier turns five as well!
