If she could do it all over again, celebrity mom Katie Couric says she would do it, but have more kids. The new daytime talk show host is of course talking about her child-bearing years and how she wishes she had more than just two daughters. Here’s what Katie tells the new issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine:
“I love being around my kids. I’m not a particularly solitary person. I like a big, chaotic household — noise, commotion, laughter!” Couric tells the magazine. “Sometimes I think I should have had six kids. Or I wish I’d had one [more] at 37, but I was busy. My career.”

Katie Couric covers the April issue of Prevention magazine where she talks about her presence in the media and how much her daughters dislike it!
When talking about twitter, Katie says, “They get mortified when I do it. I think it’s hard for them sometimes to have a mother who is a public figure and that people sometimes say not very complimentary things about. Carrie follows me, and I think Ellie does too—a lot of their friends follow me, so it’s sort of fun. But they’re not super into tweeting. They do enjoy Facebook, that’s for sure.”

A Couric pal tells Us Weekly she initiated the breakup. “Brook’s a nice guy, but it was inevitable because they had different priorities and perspectives, and their age difference made it a challenge, too.”
“Katie is someone who is incredibly versatile and accessible and in high demand and he just couldn’t keep up,” the Couric pal adds. “He had a little more trouble in the relationship. So she’s available and back on the market.”
