KATE MIDDLETON
Chic Mom of the Week

Wow! Forget all the cute Thanksgiving Day outfits we’ve seen this week, it looks like the best outfit happened across the pond. Kate Middleton was looking every bit the royal yesterday. The star attended SportsAid’s ‘SportsBall,’ the charity’s annual gala dinner, at Supernova in Embankment Gardens in London.

The duchess looked incredible in a classic, ladylike style. This black and cream overlay dress flattered her figure perfectly, and the red clutch added a fantastic pop of color. Kate’s enviably shiny hair was worn down and wavy in a lovely style. This homerun look won her the spot of chic mom of the week.

Did She Get A Push Present From Prince William?

The Royal Baby Emerges!

She was carrying the future King of England in her womb for nine months, so naturally Kate Middleton deserves one heck of a push present, right? From what we’re hearing, Prince William presented his wife with a brooch with a pink diamond as her present. Here’s the scoop:

Reports from London say William has commissioned the Queen’s jewelers to create a push present for his wife. While it’s still not clear exactly what he’ll be getting, the Daily Express says it’s rumored to be a brooch with a pink diamond. Giving a post-baby present is something of a royal tradition, as Prince Charles gave Princess Diana an engraved gold medallion when William was born.

If the reports of the pink diamond are true, it would be a gift with special significance. Queen Elizabeth II possesses one of the finest uncut pink diamonds in the world, which was given to her at her wedding by an esteemed Canadian geologist.

What do you guys think? Are push presents well-deserved or tacky?

OK! Magazine Apologizes To The Duchess

OK-UK

Oh boy, it looks like we already have one post-pregnancy royal controversy here! Britain’s OK! Magazine has recently been forced to apologize to Duchess Cate for their “weight loss” story in this week’s magazine. Here’s the gossip:

OK! magazine has apologised after the front cover of its latest edition sparked outrage with a feature on Kate Middleton’s post-baby “weight loss” regime. The cover of the July 30 £1 Royal Baby special boasted it had an exclusive with the Duchess’ trainer who spoke about how ‘her stomach will shrink straight back’.

The mag quickly sparked a furious backlash on Twitter and Facebook with readers branding it “pathetic rot” and vowing to boycott the Richard Desmond title.

Kudos to the team at OK! for doing the right thing and apologizing. I’m sure the only thing on Kate’s mind these days is spending time with her little Prince rather than worrying about her weight loss regime.

PRINCE HARRY
Is He Going To Babysit His New Nephew?

FFN_FLYNETUK_Royals_Torch_072612_50843139

It looks like Prince Harry is very excited about his new nephew, but when it comes to babysitting him, it’ll come at a price! Prince William‘s younger brother recently joked that his babysitting fees are quite high and he doesn’t know if his brother can afford him, LOL!

During an opening for an exhibition showcasing work of his AIDS charity in London, Prince Harry spilled a few new details about his new nephew, Prince George. When asked what kind of uncle he wanted to be, he said, “To make sure he has a good upbringing and to keep him out of harm’s way and make sure he has fun. The rest of it I’ll leave to the parents.”

He also added: “When I saw him he was crying, which is just like all babies. It’s fantastic to have another addition to the family. I only hope my brother knows how expensive my baby sitting charges are!”

Her Jenny Packham Dress Can’t Be Bought At Stores!

The Royal Baby Emerges!

If you were thinking about getting Kate Middleton‘s baby blue polka-dot dress that she wore while she exited the hospital on Tuesday in London, you might want to rethink that again. It looks like her dress, which was made by Jenny Packham, was custom-made for the Duchess herself and unfortunately is not available in stores. Bummer, I know!

According to the designer, the dress isn’t for sale. The label’s brand director, Blaire McColl, confirmed to Vanity Fair that the simple, yet uber chic polka-dot dress was made exclusively for the Duchess of Cambridge and the company has no plans to make it available for purchase.

Still, I’m sure we’ll all be able to find knock-offs at our department stores in no time!
