Jessica Simpson Says She Doesn’t Have A Nanny During The Day

According to new mom Jessica Simpson, she enjoys taking care of her newborn daughter Maxwell so much, that she doesn’t enlist the help of a nanny during the day. In fact, she only has help during the night. Here’s what she says in her first blog for iVillage:

“We don’t have a nanny in the day, but we did have a night nurse in the beginning, and it’s really helped me stay sane,” the singer-actress-fashion designer writes. “Anybody that can be there [helps] — even if it’s a relative who can help you so you can sleep in the first couple weeks of being home from the hospital. You have much more of a clear head. It’s really hard in the beginning and nobody can prepare you for it. But I really did get lucky: Maxwell is able to sleep through the night!”

Joy Behar Calls Out Jessica Simpson For Her Weight Gain

Joy Behar is known for her controversial comments, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the outspoken talk show host is under fire this morning for the comments she made about Jessica Simpson‘s weight gain.

The View host had this to say during her mid-day television chat fest about the pregnant fashion maven:

“Remember the the time that Jessica Simpson was criticized because she didn’t know the difference between chicken and tuna? That kind of thing is more fun to criticize than the fact that the girl is fat.”

“Most women who are pregnant are not supposed to gain more than 25 pounds. She looks like she gained a lot more than that.”

Yikes! What do you think? Is Joy wrong in her comments about Jessica?
