‘Modern Family’ Casts 4-Year-Old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons As Grown-up Lily!

Modern Family will seem a little different when its third season premieres this fall. The series went and recast the role of Lily with an older actress, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

“She really enjoys the process,” executive producer Steve Levitan tells Entertainment Weekly. “And she looks just like Jaden and Ella! When we had her do a scene, she sounded natural — not like a cutesy kid actor.”

The show ended last season with Lily being two-years-old, so this change should be interesting.

Modern Family Looking To Replace Baby Lily

When the third season of Modern Family returns in September, there will be a new actress playing baby Lily!

Producer Steven Levitan hinted a while back that they may replace the show’s adorable yet quiet baby Lily, played by twins Jaden and Ella Hiller, with a toddler.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but the series recently sent out a casting notice for an “Asian, 3- to 4-year-old daughter of Mitchell and Cameron.”

How do you feel about Lily being replaced?
