‘Annie’ Trailer

annie trailer 3I am SO excited about this remake! It’s a remake of the movie ‘Annie,’ starring Academy Award nominee Quvenzhane Wallis (who looks absolutely adorable in this role). Jamie Foxx is the Daddy Warbucks character, but in this version, his character is named Benjamin Stacks. (Stacks: get it? LOVE it- LOL). Cameron Diaz is a very glamorous Miss Hannigan, and it looks like she has a lot of fun with this role. RELATED: Here’s our first look at the ‘Annie’ reboot!

First Look At ‘Annie’ Reboot!

annie trailerIt’s time to introduce a new generation of kids to Orphan Annie! Here’s Academy Award nominee Quvenzhane Wallis in the reboot of ‘Annie.’ The ‘Annie’ reboot boasts quite a cast, including Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. This version of ‘Annie’ has definitely been updated for the 21st century. Jamie is ambitious politician Benjamin Stacks, who first becomes interested in Annie to help his image for his campaign.

Cameron looks like she’ll be HILARIOUS as Miss Hannigan. Yet the same great songs are there. While Jamie’s Benjamin Stacks may start out as an opportunistic politician, he doesn’t seem to stay that way. ‘Annie’ will be released this Christmas, which I think is perfect timing! Will you be checking out this new version of ‘Annie’? I will!

Hanging Out In L.A. With Annalise

Exclusive... Jamie Foxx Enjoys a Daddy Daughter Day

‘Django Unchained’ actor Jamie Foxx was spotted in L.A. yesterday spending some time with his daughter Annalise, 4.    It’s very rare to see Jamie with either of his daughters (he’s also dad to Corrine, 18) as he keeps his private life very private.  He’s never even shared the names of the mothers to his two girls.

February is busy for Jamie.  He participated in a day remembering Trayvon Martin, the teen who was shot and killed in Florida after walking through a gated community.  Jamie interviewed Trayvon’s parents and spoke at the gathering.  He’s also got the Oscars next week.  Jamie’s movie “Django Unchained” is up for several awards, including Best Motion Picture of the Year.

Jamie Foxx’s Star Duets Down To Daughter Advice

Jamie Foxx credits his teenage daughter with guiding his music career, because she encouraged him to work with younger artists including Drake and Soulja Boy.

The singer/actor released “Best Night of My Life” earlier this month (Dec10) and admits his new sound was inspired by his daughter Corinne.  He tells the Associated Press,

“When I first started, I was doing this little slow music, like R&B, and my daughter walked in and said, ‘What you doing?’ and I said, ‘I’m working on my album’. She said, ‘I hope you don’t put that on there, you gonna put everyone to sleep’.”

Following the comment from the 15 year old, Foxx decided to approach younger artists, including Drake, Soulja Boy and T.I., for collaborations – and he’s convinced they’ve helped revolutionise his sound.  He adds,

“She said listen… reach out, so I reached out to these young cats and they really allowed me to keep the integrity… they said here’s how we simplify it, here’s how we get it in the club, here’s how we make it relevant to have it played on the radio.

“People like Drake were really instrumental in doing that and a lot of times in order to be successful in music you have to listen and allow other people to steer you in the right direction.”
