“Rio 2” star Leslie Mann enjoyed a little one-on-one time with her youngest daughter Iris Apatow this weekend. Leslie and Iris hit up West Hollywood restaurant Gracias Madre for a little girls’ lunch. Leslie was chic and casual in her baggy rolled jeans and a white t-shirt, paired with a blue Birkin bag. Iris was a fashionable famous kid in her faux tuxedo t-shirt and black leggings.
Actress Leslie Mann had a mother-daughter night out with her youngest daughter Iris Apatow. Leslie and Iris hit the red carpet in Westwood for the premiere of Mr. Peabody & Sherman. Although the night was just “all fun” for Leslie – it was a work event. Leslie voices the character of Patty Peterson in the film.
Leslie does a lot of voice work in animated films lately and has another one coming up very soon – Rio 2! She’ll be voicing the character of Linda again, who was Blue’s “mom/owner” in the first film. In the past she also voiced a character in ParaNorman, as well. When I interviewed her for the movie Rio, she shared that one of the best parts of doing voice roles was going to work in pajama pants and UGG boots and not having to do hair and makeup. Which is coincidentally the best part of my job, too!
Are you planning to see Mr. Peabody & Sherman this weekend with the kids?

Leslie has a new animated movie coming out in August called ‘ParaNorman‘. Leslie also finished up ‘This is 40’, which both of her daughters also star in with her! It’s a bit of a sequel to the hit movie ‘Knocked Up’, as it follows what has happened to the characters of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie.
