Talk about a good little helper! Gwen Stefani‘s son Zuma was spotted helping out his nanny by pumping car into her car in Los Angeles, Calif. on Thursday afternoon. Aww! He really is a little gentleman, isn’t he?
Mom Gwen and dad Gavin Rossdale must be doing a great job teaching their children the importance of helping out at home because it looks like they’re hard work is paying off. Zuma sure is going to be a charmer one day, isn’t he?

Gwen Stefani is pretty much saying what we’ve all been thinking for years now: children are a lot of work! Even when you have special care that includes nannies and housekeepers, it’s no walk in the park raising a family, especially if you are has hands-on as Gwen with her two boys, Kingston, and Zuma. The rocker mom has also said that recording her new studio album with her band, No Doubt, has been a great break from being “a mom,” even if that means for just a little while. Here’s what she tells Us Weekly:
“I don’t think [parenthood has] mellowed us out, but priorities have to change. Before, it was unspoken that the band was the No. 1 thing; there was not a girlfriend or someone else that could be before the band. It wasn’t even something we discussed, it just was what it was. But we’re at a stage where we don’t have to be like that anymore; we can kind of do this when we want to do it.”
“Like today, for instance, I told them, ‘I cannot do twelve-hour days anymore, stop it!’ I just missed Kingston and Zuma going to sleep. But I get to talk to you, and it’s actually a nice break — my kids are so much work. No Spider-Man for me tonight, but that’s okay. I’ll take a break.”

There’s no better way to spend the hot summer months than at your favorite beach, right? Well, that’s exactly what celebrity mom Gwen Stefani did as she was spotted taking her two boys, Zuma and Kingston, to Newport Beach, Calif. with a few friends and their nannies on Sunday afternoon.
Now, we’ve seen a lot of pictures of Gwen at the beach and seems like she’s always covered up – she’s one celebrity who doesn’t want to flaunt her bikini body in front of the paps. As always, Gwen looked like the super cool mom she is as she made her way through one of the airport’s terminals carrying her sleepy son Zuma while a nanny held big brother Kingston’s hand.

The Stefani-Rossdale family is continuing to enjoy a little R&R in Palm Beach, Florida. Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale have been spotted hitting the beach and hanging with their sons, Zuma and Kingston, this week.
Today the family headed over to the Florida Science Museum together. Zuma was looking adorable as ever in his Spider Man costume! Gavin took a quick phone call before heading inside with his family.
Zuma will celebrate his fourth birthday this month. It seems like he’s so much older than that already, doesn’t it?!

Yummy mummy Gwen Stefani graces this month’s cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine where she talks about her new album and how being a parent has changed her life. Here are some snippets from her interview:
On her style: “I’ve always been a girl who loves to dress up,” says Gwen. “I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you.” She even wears it at home because “I like to make my husband like me more,” she says, laughing, “and he likes it when I’m wearing makeup.”
On staying fit: “I hate talking about my body [all the time]; it’s ridiculous,” she says, referring to the number of times someone has asked how to get her six-pack abs. “There is no secret: You just have to eat healthy, work out, and torture yourself!” Jumping around onstage for a few hours for thousands of screaming fans is great cardio, and she says she hits the gym when her hectic mother-of-two schedule allows. “But it’s more for my brain than it is for my body.” Not that it’s all about mental health. On how she stays sample-size: “I like to wear clothes too much, so I try to keep focused.”
On motherhood: “It’s superfun being a mom, but it’s hard too. Finding that balance between work and family is the hardest thing I’ve ever done—by far.”
On fame and gossip: “That someone would say something untrue or bad about me doesn’t bother me. It’s like water off a duck’s back.” This attitude applies to everything from best-dressed lists to rumors that her marriage is falling apart. “None of that stuff matters. There’s something in me, being this passive person, that those kinds of things don’t upset me. I know they can say anything; they can just make something up. But what are you going to do? It’s not part of my reality, so it’s okay.”
