Brooklyn Decker Talks Babies In Flare Magazine!

Actress and model Brooklyn Decker tells this month’s issue of Flare Magazine that she’s definitely planning to adopt, as well as having biological children with husband, tennis pro Andy Roddick.

Brooklyn’s goal is to adopt a child with special needs.

“I want to adopt a child or a baby with an intellectual disability one day. I mean, that’s in the distant future, but that’s always been a goal of mine.”

“Unfortunately a lot of kids with intellectual disabilities are given up for adoption when they’re born ’cause it’s a lot for a family.”

I think that’s an amazing goal to have.  Bravo to Brooklyn!

Nicole Richie Covers ‘Flare,’ Talks Family and Fame

Nicole Richie has matured drastically over the last few years, and since becoming a mom the one-time late-night party girl, favors waking at early dawn to squeeze in some alone time.

“I wake up at 5:30 in the morning, every morning, so I can be alone,” admits the Fashion Star mentor, who graces the cover of the April issue of Flare magazine. “I don’t have anywhere to be, but mentally, I like to go downstairs and drink my coffee … I’m telling you, it changes my entire day.”

And while Richie has certainly cleaned up her act, she has a problem with the notion that celebrities should serve as role models.

“I was just talking to a friend of mine who has two little girls about a certain singer whose name I won’t mention,” she explains. “He was really upset, saying she wasn’t a good role model for his kids. But here’s the thing: that girl is 20-something, so she shouldn’t be a role model to your little girls. She’s human, and it’s unrealistic to put people on a pedestal and expect that they’re not going to make mistakes.”

As for her own kids, Nicole and Joel Madden want Harlow and Sparrow to have as normal a childhood as possible.

“[Harlow] has no idea that she has two [fashion] lines named after her,” she reveals. “I try and let her be a kid.”
