Celebrity Baby Birthday: Damian Hurley Turns 9

Today is Damian Hurley’s 9th birthday!  Damian is the son of actress Elizabeth Hurley. Damian is a lucky fellow – he has SEVEN godparents: Elton John, Hugh Grant, David Furnish, Henry Dent Brocklehurst, Patsy Kensit, Denis Leary, and the late Heath Ledger.

Elizabeth shared on Twitter that she and Damian had a relaxing weekend together:

Lying on the sofa with my son, eating strawberry sorbet. Me reading a nasty thriller and him a vampire book. Bliss.

Yesterday was also Mother’s Day in the UK:

Happy Mother’s Day to all. My son woke me at 5.45am this morning to tell me how much he loved me….thanks Damian!!

Happy Birthday to Damian!  We’re sure your mum will make it a FABULOUS day for you!

Elizabeth Hurley And Son Damian Head To Movie Premiere

Elizabeth Hurley and her son Damian headed out together this weekend to hit the UK premiere of “Gnomeo & Juliet“.  She shared on Twitter:

Just off to Gnomeo & Juliet. My son Damian totally over excited. Me too.

They were showing their support for Sir Elton John, a producer of the movie, who also happens to be one of Damian’s godfathers and a good friend of Elizabeth’s.

We loved Gnomeo & Juliet! Fabulous movie with the best soundtrack ever. Well done to EJ and David. It was an 11 year labour of love.

Elizabeth Hurley’s Ex-Husband Will Always Be Apart Of Son’s Life

Elizabeth Hurley recently announced her split from husband Arun Nayar, even though she says their marriage was over months ago.

Although a marriage falling apart is a can be ugly between the two parents, Hurley praises her Nayar as a “great father” and insists he will always be part of her eight-year-old son Damian’s life.

Elizabeth tweeted,

 “Painful, sad days. Arun & I separated for private reasons but FTR (for the record) he has been a great father to our son Damian & will always be in his life.(sic)”

Elizabeth had Damian with a former partner Steve Bing.

Elizabeth Hurley And Arun Nayar Announce Their Separation

After 3 years of marriage, actress and model Elizabeth Hurley and her husband, businessman Arun Nayun, have split up.   She confirmed the news on Twitter yesterday:

Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.

Elizabeth felt the need to come forward because photos of her kissing cricketer Shane Warne were spread through the media.  I’m sure everyone jumped to the conclusion that she was cheating since nobody realized they had split!

Elizabeth has an 8-year-old son Damian from a previous relationship, but no children with Arun.
