Happy 9th Birthday Romeo Beckham!

Today (September 1) David and Victoria Beckham are celebrating the birth of their second youngest son, Romeo James.

Victoria gave birth to Romeo on September 1st, 2002 in London.  He has some pretty high profile godparents: Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley.

Victoria has shared in the past that Romeo may have gotten the “fashion bug” from her:

“We had dinner last night and Romeo wore a suit with a little shirt and tie.  That’s what he would wear every single day, he’s so into fashion.  The other boys are all about going to the beach. He’s not interested.”

“He’s like, ‘I want to go to work with Mummy,’ and he sits there going through the collection, feeling the fabrics, giving his opinion. He loves it.”

The Beckhams Head To The Beach And Make A Fan’s Day

David Beckham and his sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz were spotted playing in the waves again yesterday on Malibu beach.  The boys spent their day splashing around together, with doting dad David taking a ton of pictures of his sons showing off their skills.

At one point David spent a few minutes signing a pink soccer ball for a young fan who he then helped back up the rocks.

Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen Named World’s Most Wealthiest Celebrity Couple

Forbes magazine has named Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen as the world’s wealthiest celebrity couple in 2010, knocking Beyonce and Jay-Z down to number two this year.

The mega-rich supermodel and her sports star partner took home a joint income of $75 million in 2010, according to the list compiled by Forbes.

Beyonce and Jay-Z came in second with $70 million, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie earned $49 million for third, David and Victoria Beckham netted $44 million, and Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart round out the top five with earnings of $36 million.

David Beckham Throws His Boys Around In The Ocean

Superstar soccer player David Beckham, Gordon Ramsay, and their families were spotted having a fun day at Beckham’s beach house in Malibu, California on Sunday (August 21).

Beckham threw his boys Romeo and Cruz around in the water before spending some time on a surfboard.

David Beckham Credits His Upbringing For His Family Values

At the Do Something Awards over the weekend, soccer dad David Beckham dished on his close-knit family.

The celeb dad shared that he can finally start helping with daughter Harper’s feedings:

“It’s so important that they have that mother-daughter bond and breastfeeding, I think, is really an incredible thing.  We’re in the process of putting it in bottles now, so that means I get to feed her — which has been amazing.”

He also shared that the way he and Victoria were raised has played a big part in how they are raising their four children in a very hands-on way:

“It’s just the way [Victoria and I] were brought up as kids; it’s the way we are bringing our kids up.  We make sure that the most important thing to us is our family and we’re all grounded. No matter what goes on around us, no matter what situation it is, we come together as a family and we deal with it.”
