While I do wish Hollywood would be a bit more original with their films, the return of the Bridget Jones franchise is one I can NOT wait for. Renee Zellweger is back along with Colin Firth, and this time her love triangle is completed with Patrick Dempsey rather than Hugh Grant. And this is a bit of a twist on the love triangle idea with the question of: “Who’s the baby’s daddy?” Check out the new trailer for ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ after the break!
Finally! We get our first look at the new movie in the ‘Bridget Jones’ franchise :). Renee Zellweger is back in the title role, and Colin Firth also returned for the movie. Hugh Grant opted not to return, but Patrick Dempsey is in it: I think he’s a fine replacement, don’t you? Take a look at the first trailer after the break.
Here’s a new trailer for a highly anticipated Christmas release, ‘Paddington.’ Colin Firth voices Paddington. Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters and Jim Broadbent play the live action roles. I remember LOVING the ‘Paddington’ books when I was little! RELATED: Here’s another trailer: Dreamworks’ Animation’s ‘Home.’
Here’s another December release that your little ones will LOVE. It’s ‘Paddington’! The Peruvian teddy bear who’s an Anglophile will make his big screen debut next December, on the fourth. Colin Firth is the voice of Paddington. Nicole Kidman also stars as the museum taxidermist who takes an interest in the teddy bear.
This is just a teaser trailer, but I’ve been excited about seeing this since I heard the movie was being made. Nicole’s going to score some serious mom points with her own daughters, Sunday and Faith- LOL. Can you tell some of the people working on ‘Paddington’ (like David Heyman) were also involved with the ‘Harry Potter’ movies? It has a similar “feel,” which I think fits ‘Paddington’ perfectly.
Colin Firth credits his wife Livia with keeping him grounded throughout his Hollywood career, insisting his stable home life helps him “remain sane as an actor”.
The Bridget Jones’s Diary star shuns glitzy showbiz parties and instead prefers to spend his free time with his Italian film producer/director wife, who he married in 1997, and their two sons. And he admits he would struggle with fame without his family. He tells Britain’s OK! magazine,
“I appreciate the smiles I receive on occasion from rather beautiful women. But my heart is reserved for my lovely wife Livia. I believe that if you’re going to remain sane as an actor you have to build a strong home life for yourself or you’re going to wind up very lost.
“It’s not an accident that many people in my profession struggle with all the temptations and the havoc that wreaks upon you. You need your wife and children to keep your head from exploding. You need to feel calm and stable away from your work as an actor…
“Livia does an outstanding job of keeping me calm and centred. She keeps my feet on the ground and helps me deal with all the ups and downs that actors experience in terms of the great roles you don’t get.”
