Product Recall: Circo Brand Sitting Stools


Approximately 69,000 Circo-brand Chloe and Conner Sitting Stools are being recalled for a defect with the stabilizing bar.  The stabilizing bar can crack and cause the stool to collapse, posing a fall hazard to the user.

Target has received seven reports of the stools breaking or collapsing and causing a child to fall. In five of the reported incidents, bumps, bruises and cuts were reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the stool and return it to a Target store for a full refund.

The stools were sold at Target stores nationwide from April 2012 through June 2013 and retailed around $15.

Product Recall: Land Of Nod Iron Bed Frames For Entrapment Hazard

The Land of Nod is recalling approximately 1,500 of its Iron Sleigh, Petal and Picket bed-frames. The openings in the headboard and foot board pose an entrapment hazard to young children.

No injuries

The beds being recalled (see descriptions here) were sold at The Land of Nod retail stores or online at from May 2008 to June 2012.
