And Our Quote Of The Day!

Now this is what you call some REAL girlfriend advice. Olivia Wilde tells Glamour Magazine readers to not rush into motherhood unless both their hearts and minds are in it. She says:

“I love kids with a passion I usually reserve for hot cheese, miniature chairs, and Prince concerts, but I feel no stress to reproduce simply because of a fear of withering eggs. Wait for the right partner, and make sure you’re where you want to be in life before picking neighborhoods based on school districts. This is not to suggest you should live irresponsibly for the next 10 years, then expect to get knocked up when your chosen dude finally sneezes inside you. But you’ll never find the right baby-maker or enjoy baby-making if you’re doing it out of anxiety. Relax, be good to your body, and when the time is right, get busy.”

I simply LOVE her honesty in what she says here. Way to go, Olivia!

Is She Thinking Of Baby Number 3?

While Naomi Watts loves having two boys at home, the actress says that if she were to have a third child, she would only do it if she had the guarantee that it would be a girl. Well, Naomi I’d hate to break it to you but I think you only have a 50/50 chance there, LOL.

“Two boys can be a lot to handle and sometimes…you think it would be easier with two girls playing with their tea sets and dolls,” Naomi recently told Britain’s OK! magazine. “But Liev loves having two boys and I suppose I might consider having another child if someone could guarantee me it would be a girl.”

Something tells me that Naomi might have her hands full as it is and is good with having just two children…. What do you guys think?

“Pregnancy Isn’t Easy!”

2013 Tribeca Film Festival - 'A Case Of You' Screening

Evan Rachel Wood looks absolutely stunning in the above photo, doesn’t she? Well, while the celebrity mama-to-be thinks that being pregnant is amazing, she admits that it’s no walk in the park either! The actress recently said:

“It’s been amazing. It’s not easy, but it’s incredible.”

I keep explaining it like it’s going from standard to wide screen. You view the world totally differently and you’re much more aware of people and things. Your senses just kind of go crazy — it’s a lot.”

I think there are many women out there that can echo your sentiments, Evan! 🙂

Drew Lachey Says Brother Nick Is Going To Be A Great Dad

“You don’t tell anyone how to raise their kids. He’s going to love that baby so much, everything is going to be fine,” Drew adds. “I don’t have to give him any advice. He knows how to hold it, love it, and hug it. That’s basically all you have to do. Everything else will work itself out.”

– Drew Lachey in Parade Magazine when asked if he’s given any parenting advice to his brother, celebrity dad-to-be Nick Lachey. And we couldn’t agree with him more!

Quote Of The Day: Alanis Morissette On Attachment Parenting

“I’m passionate about the idea that the attachment stage of development segues into exploration. You can continue the attachment stage of development throughout everything. This just really implies connection, that the child feels connected through touch, that they can trust life and the people around them.”

Canadian singer Alanis Morissette on why attachment parenting works for her and her child. Hey, whatever is best for you and your children and what you feel most comfortable about is what really matters, right?
