Rep: Amy Winehouse Was Not Adopting

After Amy Winehouse’s untimely passing, details of her life have begun to seep through the cracks including a claim that Winehouse was preparing to adopt a 10-year-old girl. But according to her rep, this simply is not true.

A rep for the late singer tells Us Weekly “she was not in the process of legally adopting anyone.”

“Amy was already my mother,” Dannika Augustine, 10, told British paper The Daily Mirror. “I would call her Mum. And she would call me her daughter.”

“Amy isn’t around to say what she meant and you can’t go after this poor girl,” adds an insider close to the star. “But there were definitely no official adoption plans.”

Charlie Sheen & Brooke Mueller Back Together?

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller had a reunion of sorts over the weekend. The estranged lovers spent some quality time with one another as well as their sons, Max and Bob.

The reunion took place at Charlie’s Hollywood Hills mansion while Brooke was on a break from her rehab program.

Charlie told TMZ, “Harmony is our goal. Sunday was a wonderful start.”

Reportedly, when Brooke finished her program, Charlie wants to move her to a home in his neighborhood so they can spend more time together as a family.

Jennifer Lopez Opens Up About Marc Anthony Split

It’s been two weeks and finally, Jennifer Lopez is opening up about her split form husband Marc Anthony in the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

“That was my biggest dream, and I really worked hard at it. We both did,” Lopez, 42, says of her failed union with Anthony, also 42. “Sometimes it doesn’t work–and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love.”

As far as the reason for the split goes: “Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself–if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now,” she declares.

And things are not left sour with her and Marc. “I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer,” she says. “We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic-—and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

They’re Just Like Us: Celebrity Mom Ellen Pompeo Goes Grocery Shopping

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo made a run to her local grocery store in Los Feliz, California on Monday (August 1st). All those years on Grey’s earned her a very nice Range Rover, if we do say so ourselves. Season eight of the hit ABC series has started production.

Pink Shows Off Her Post Baby Body

Singer Pink stopped by her local Starbucks in Malibu, California on Monday (August 1) for a caffeine filled ice-cold beverage. Pink looks to be slowly getting back into shape after giving birth to her first baby, daughter Willow Sage, in June.

Angelina Jolie To Make Fewer Films

Angelina Jolie has said this many times before, but she is saying it again.

“As Brad and I get older we’re going to do fewer films. I’ve been working for a long time, he’s been working for a long time, we’ve had a nice run and don’t want to be doing this our whole lives. There are a lot of other things to do.”

Brad and Angie are taking care of 6 kids, directing, acting, and doing charity work. So it’s no surprise that they’d want to take a break. But like we said, the actress has said this many times before and she’s still with us.
