Catherine Zeta-Jones With Carys & She Reveals That She Is A Worrywart

Catherine Zeta-Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones has been dubbed Dame Doom by her husband and kids because she’s always convinced the worst is going to happen.
The Welsh actress reveals her son Dylan, 6, and daughter Carys, 4, came up with the nickname after she started worrying for their safety one day while they were climbing trees.
She tells U.S. magazine Parade, “Dylan and Carys make fun of me because I worry when they’re climbing or jumping outside. I always think something could happen to them.
“And I always tell Michael how to drive. I’m the worst passenger. One time, he pulled over and got out of the car and said, ‘You drive.'”

But the actress insists she doesn’t have a gloomy approach to life: “I’m happy. I’m crazy in love with my husband. I love my children and adore just watching them grow and change”.

Catherine Zeta-Jones On Telling Michael Douglas, "I cannot live without having children."

Catherine Zeta-Jones

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has been winning audiences over since her sexy role in 1998’s The Mask of Zorro. Now a married mom of two, Catherine talked to Parade about balancing her career with family, and the one thing that could have ended her relationship with actor Michael Douglas. Read excerpts below:

On the importance having children had in her early relationship with Michael:
“…There was one thing I had to be sure of. I turned to Michael and said, ‘Do you really want children?’ And I thought, for one minute, he was going to say, ‘I already have a son, Cameron, and I would have to say goodbye. I remember saying defiantly, ‘I cannot live without having children.’ And he went, ‘Me too.'”

On why she’s not a screamer:
“Michael and I have been married seven years. I’ve known him nine years. We’ve never screamed at each other. We disagree, yeah, but we never shout…I did the screaming thing before. It doesn’t work. I’ve realized hat you can actually say what you need to say. People can tell from the tone of my voice. And my kids know when I raise my finger or do ‘the eyes’ that I mean it.”

On not living in Hollywood:
“I’ve been told that it’s not good for business, but at the end of the day, I’d sacrifice career so my children can go to school without the paparazzi pestering them.”

On how her career has changed:
“When I first came to the States, it was like I’d do anything. I had not a ruthless but a nice kind of ambition….At this point in my life, I actually have a life. If I’m going to do a film, it’s got to mean something to my heart.”

She rocks!

Just cause I love Catherine I’ve put more pics of her in Valencia above, and rumor has it that she has a baby wish!

The Welsh actress is said to be keen on having a third child with Michael, and likes the idea of the couple’s two children – six-year-old son, Dylan, and four-year-old daughter, Carys – having another brother or sister.

A friend of Catherine’s told Grazia magazine, “She has started talking about how wonderful it would be to have another baby. She and Michael have agreed to just relax and see what happens. They do want to have another baby, but even more than that, they want to focus on spending time together and with their family.”

Catherine, 37, has previously said she didn’t want to add to her family, but has seemingly warmed to the idea as Carys has grown up.

Last year, Michael, 62, insisted he did not want anymore children.

He said at the time, “We are enjoying our two children, and we want to keep it that way. I’m happy.”

Hmmm…..we’ll see!

And here is a pic of the luminous mother-of-two in InStyle!
