Irwin Family Chosen As Ambassadors Of Brisbane Lions AFL Club

The Irwin Family Announced As Ambassadors For The Brisbane Lions

The family of the late Steve Irwin (aka The Crocodile Hunter) were announced this week as Ambassadors for the Brisbane Lions AFL Club.  Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin were on hand at The Gabba, AFL Grounds in Brisbane, Australia on February 2 for the official announcement. The Irwins were smiling from ear to ear as they posed with the players (and animals).

Can you believe it has been over seven years since Steve passed away?  His family continues to carry on his legacy through the Australia Zoo and other animal conservation projects.  His kids, Bindi and Bob, are so grown up now and we’re sure their dad would be proud that they’re sticking with the “family business”.

She Wants To Be An Actress!

It looks like someone here has been bitten by the acting bug! According to the late Steve Irwin‘s daughter, Bindi Irwin, she wants to “expand her acting career” and become a more prominent figure in the celebrity world.

The teen already has worked on Hallmark Channel’s Return to Nim’s Island. She says:

“I loved working on the film with such a brilliant cast and crew who were just as passionate about creating a beautiful movie for people of all ages to enjoy. When you work on a movie, the cast and crew become like family, which is really special.”

“I would love to expand my acting career and take on more roles, even if they do not directly have to do with wildlife.”

What do you think, Babyrazzi readers? Too early to soon? Or does Bindi have what it takes to make it big?
