It looks like we might be getting ready for another huge bump watch here! According to celebrity mom Beyonce, she’s ready to give her daughter Blue Ivy a sibling!  The 31-year-old singer, who already has 16-month-old daughter Blue Ivy with husband Jay-Z, is keen to extend her family as she now feels motherhood is her “biggest” priority, despite initially struggling with it and her music career.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper:

“Definitely I would like to have more children. Motherhood has changed everything. You see things a bit differently after you give birth and my biggest job now is to protect my child. After giving birth there’s a moment of rediscovery when you are making sure you still have goals and take care of yourself as a woman. That was something I struggled with – making sure I was still this strong woman and also making time for my child and balancing the two.”

She might be one of the most private celebrities in the entertainment world right now but when it comes to motherhood, Beyonce never hesitates to open up. The celebrity mom is on the cover of this month’s Vogue UK Magazine, where she talks about feminism, her critics, and of course her daughter, Blue Ivy. Check out the highlights below:

Does Beyonce consider herself a feminist? “That word can be very extreme… But I guess I am a modern-day feminist. I do believe in equality. Why do you have to choose what type of woman you are? Why do you have to label yourself anything? I’m just a woman and I love being a woman. If you’re attractive then you can’t be sexy, and you can’t be intelligent? What is all of that?…”

The criticism for calling herself ‘Mrs. Carter’: “I do believe in equality and that we have a way to go and it’s something that’s pushed aside and something that we have been conditioned to accept. But I’m happily married. I love my husband. I feel like Mrs Carter is who I am, but more bold and more fearless than I’ve ever been. It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, ‘OK, this is what you were born to do.’ The purpose of my body became completely different.”

She wants Blue Ivy to follow her dreams: “I definitely want my daughter to have goals and drive and passion – it has to be a balance. I hope she figures it out. Whatever makes her happy, I’m there. I do feel like I’m going to be honest with my daughter.”

I still can’t believe that Beyonce gained an almost whopping 60 pounds during her pregnancy last year, but according to the singer, that’s true! The chart topper opens up to Shape Magazine this month, where she talks about her post-pregnancy body, motherhood, and how her life has changed since becoming a celebrity mom. Here are some highlights of her interview:

On her post-baby body: “I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again! I’m not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape.”

On her advice to postpartum moms: “Not everyone is supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you, you.”

On losing the baby weight: “I ate a very low-calorie diet. I stayed away from red meat and ate a lot of fish, replaced pasta and rice with quinoa. I always have breakfast, say, scrambled egg whites, a vegetable smoothie, or whole-grain cereal with low-fat milk. For lunch and dinner, I eat a lot of fish and vegetables. And throughout the day, I try to stay hydrated.”

On enjoying a treat in moderation: “I always treat myself to one meal on Sundays when I can have whatever I want. Usually it’s pizza, which is my favorite indulgence.”

On wanting more children: “Absolutely. I’ll probably start after this tour. We’ll see if it happens.”

On motherhood: “I just adore being a mother, hearing her say Mama and call me when she needs something. It makes me feel like I have a real purpose here. I enjoy all the things people warned me would be tough to handle.”

On what surprises her about motherhood: “I’m most surprised by how much she’s taught me. She’s only a year old and I’ve learned so much about myself from her. Giving birth was one of my biggest fears, and having Blue forced me to face it. And now I recognize the strength I have. She teaches me to focus on the things that truly matter, like family, and to pay attention to each moment, because they go by so quickly.”
