Bethenny Frankel Picks Up Bryn From School

Former reality star Bethenny Frankel enjoyed a sunny day in NYC with her daughter Bryn Hoppy.  Bethenny and Bryn were all smiles as they took a walk and bought an adorable sombrero style hat.

Things are looking up for Bethenny.  It sounds like she and soon-to-be ex Jason Hoppy may have hammered out their divorce details.  Also, Bethenny’s talk show “bethenny” got a premiere date for fall!  Bethenny’s new chat fest will debut on September 9th.

Are you looking forward to Bethenny’s new show?  Did you watch the trial run of it last summer?  I thought it was a lot of fun!

Bethenny Frankel Isn’t Lying About Her $120 Million Sale Of Skinnygirl Brand

Bethenny Frankel is using Twitter to address concerns that she may have lied about the sale of her Skinnygirl brand.

Frankel is refuting claims that she lied about the value of her Skinnygirl brand selling for $120 million last March. These claims are saying it sold for just $8.1 million.

“Irresponsible journalism,” Frankel tweeted.

“Skinnygirl Cocktails is the number one fastest growing spirits brand in the country because of YOU!” she tweeted Thursday. “On track to do over 1 million cases this year! Thank you.”

Bethenny Frankel Is Letting Go Of Mommy Guilt

Reality star Bethenny Frankel is learning to be a more relaxed mom to her daughter Bryn, 17 months.  She shares with Parenting magazine’s November issue how she’s managing to be easy on herself.

She says a big part of parenting is just being there, nobody is perfect:

I like to think I’m doing a good job. I’m there for my daughter almost all the time, as much as I can possibly be.  You don’t have to do everything right — just be there.

That philosophy helps her to feel less guilty when she has to be away for work:

“I had to be on a business trip all day Saturday. But I knew it was coming so I spent every minute of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with Bryn, and then all day Sunday again.  So really, I only missed one day. I didn’t like it, but I didn’t feel guilty at all.”

She’s also not beating herself up over every little thing:

“Bryn’s not drinking enough milk right now, but that has nothing to do with me. It’s not like I’m a bad mom because of that.”

She thinks her age has a little to do with her outlook on mothering:

For me, I think that having Bryn later in my 30s was a good thing. I’ve had more experience and I appreciate it more.  I don’t think, at 23, I’d have been the same kind of mom I am now, but I have no idea. I’m sure there are plenty of great 23-year-old mothers out there!”
