Bronx Wentz is really taking “playing in the sand” to a whole new level!  The four year old son of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz is having a ball on his holiday vacation in Hawaii with his mom, aunt Jessica Simpson – along with his cousin Maxwell Drew – and their friends.

Bronx was snapped on the beach with Ashlee and a slew of their family friends as they built sandcastles and buried each other in the sand.   The family is hanging out on Oahu through the New Year.  I can’t imagine a better way to ring in the new year!

Ashlee Simpson and Bronx Wentz frolic in the ocean in Hawaii together.  Ashlee showed off her amazing bikini body as she splashed around with Bronx and a group of friends.  Ashlee recent split (amicably) from her longtime relationship with actor Vincent Piazza.  It looks like she’s enjoying just focusing on Bronx at the moment.

Ashlee, Jessica, niece Maxwell Drew, her mom Tina and other friends and family have been vacationing together for the holidays.  The family spent Christmas on Oahu and it’s looking like they plan to spend New Year’s Eve there as well.

Singer Ashlee Simpson and her son Bronx are making the most of their Hawaiian vacation.  Ashlee and Bronx hit the beach again yesterday, building sand castles and having some laughs along the way.   The whole Simpson clan is having a nice time – both together and alone during this trip.

It’s hard to believe that Bronx is already four years old!  I love love that he got his mom’s blonde hair but his dad’s (Pete Wentz) glorious curls!  I wonder if they’ll let him keep growing out this long or if at some point Bronx will decide he wants it shorter?
