Alicia Silverstone Is Raising Bear As A Vegan
Alicia Silverstone, animal rights activist, plans to raise her son Bear Blu as a vegan.
The new mom reveals, “Bear was grown on vegan food and we’ll continue nourishing him with a healthy diet…He’ll be eating an organic plant-based diet. I intend to take great care of his precious new baby body so I’m committed to giving him nothing but the purest and most healthy food possible. We want to keep his immune system strong so that he’ll be super healthy – which is just one of the many reasons he’ll eat vegan.”

Meet Alicia Silverstone’s Baby Boy, Bear Blu!
While Alicia Silverstone wasn’t graced with the cover of People magazine this week (that went to Lauren Conrad’s breakup with Kyle Howard!), she did receive a side box headline in regards to the first baby photos of little Bear Blu!
Alicia, 34, and her musician hubby Christopher Jarecki welcomed their little cub, Bear Blu on May 5.
Alicia has been so captivated that she didn’t leave the house for the baby’s first six weeks!
“I wanted to soak in every moment of his scrumptiousness,” she tells Us Weekly. “He had crazy amounts of hair when he came out,” she says, “And he’s got such a cute smile.”
And the baby definitely seems to be a plus for Silverstone’s relationship with Christopher as well. “He’s great at changing him and giving baths, and he massages him a lot,” she explains of Chris, 40. “I thought that man was handsome before, but it’s so unbelievably sexy to watch him hold our baby.”

Updated: Alicia Silverstone Welcomes Her First Child – A Baby Boy!
Actress Alicia Silverstone and her husband Christopher Jarecki have welcomed their first child, according to reports.
So far there aren’t any details other than that she had a water birth at a local birthing center on Friday and has since returned home with her new bundle of joy!
We’ll keep you posted on any announcements of the new baby’s name and gender, etc!
UPDATE: Alicia named her new son Bear Blu Jarecki. he weighed in at 7lbs, 15 oz.!
