Amanda Seyfried Talks Babies In The March Issue Of Glamour

Big Love‘ actress Amanda Seyfried sat down with Glamour magazine for their March issue to talk about dating and why she has babies on the brain.

On whether ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper was the last guy she loved:

“My God, yeah. He was my last real boyfriend. We still joke about having kids, like, ‘If it doesn’t work out with other people, we might as well just have a child.’ And there’s a part of that that feels…possible.”

On if she is going through a twenties ‘sowing her oats’ phase:

“No! I’m terrified of being promiscuous. I don’t like the feeling you get when it’s not something that you truly want to do, and I hate the emotional abuse you give yourself afterward. It’s just uncomfortable when you’re with somebody and you’re like, ‘I don’t really know if I’m even comfortable with this. Why did I? Eww!’ I think dating can come without sex.”

On having kids and commitment:

“Oh yeah, I think about kids all the time. I feel like the next person I commit to, that’s going to be the guy who I’m going to have kids with. That’s in my crazy female brain. So that’s why I’m like, ‘I can’t commit.’ ”

On Mariah:

“Mariah and I are both hopeless romantics.  We just made a pact to say that we want to be in this because we enjoy each other and we love each other…We want to be successful at being in a relationship; we want to have a good time.”

On being a sex symbol:

“[Being labeled a sex symbol] comes with the territory when being a solid husband and good father.  Women find that kind of stuff appealing and sexy. Growing up, I was always the smallest kid in the school…I was the skinny and lanky dude…So I embrace [being labeled a sex symbol] now.”

On fatherhood:

“I was built for fatherhood.  I grew up in a family with a lot of kids…Ihave taken care of kids my whole life.  As soon as my children were born, they became first and everything else became secondary.”

Paula Patton Says Post-Baby Race To Get In Shape Was Crazy

Actress Paula Patton gave birth to her son Julian Fuego (with husband Robin Thicke) in April of 2010, but the new mom didn’t get a moment’s rest in the weight department.  Paula had to whip herself into shape in just five months so she could begin filming “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol“.  She shared:

“It was really the most grueling and one of the hardest things I’ve done.  I worked out for two and half hours, six days a week for a couple of months. It was so hard!”

“I would never cry in front of the boys, but inside I was hurting and a little depressed,” she admits.

“You have to get past that moment of self-doubt. After a month, the wall came down and the training felt doable. It still wasn’t easy, but doable and that felt really empowering.”

Paula also gushed about motherhood:

“Becoming a mother is the best thing that’s happened to me.  He’s at the age where he’s talking. He’s not doing soliloquies, but he’s saying Mama, Dada, car and dog. His vocabulary is growing every day. He makes me so happy.”
