We have another children’s pajama recall today!  BedHead brand two piece pajama sets are being recalled for failing to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

This recall involves BedHead children’s 95% cotton and 5% Lycra, two-piece pajama sets sold in toddler size 12 months through youth 14. The two-piece pajama sets were sold in three prints, Navy Cream Stripe, Pink Holland and Pink Spot. [Read more...]

Product Recall: J.P. Boden Boys’ Pajamas

J.P. Boden is recalling several styles of its boys’ pajamas.  The pj’s fail to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injury to children.

This recall involves Johnnie B boys’ pajama sets with a top and shorts and model number 84004, and Mini Boden pajama sets with a top and shorts and model number 24106.

No incidents or injuries have been reported.  The company is offering a full refund to customers.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children and contact J.P. Boden for a full refund.  J.P. Boden is contacting its customers directly.

Sold exclusively at www.bodenusa.com during January 2014 and sold for $48.

Product Recall: Wal-Mart Recalls Dolls For Burn Hazard

Check those toy bins!  Wal-Mart is recalling more than 170,000 of its  My Sweet Love / My Sweet Baby Cuddle Care Baby Dolls.  The circuit board in the chest of the doll can overheat, causing the surface of the doll to get hot, posing a burn hazard to the consumer.

Wal-Mart has received 12 reports of incidents, including two reports of burns or blisters to the thumb. [Read more...]

Product Recall: IKEA Children’s Bed Canopies

IKEA is recalling more than 250,000 of its  Children’s bed canopies for potential strangulation hazards.  An infant or young child can get entangled at the neck in the canopy’s fabric, posing a strangulation hazard.

This recall involves IKEA children’s bed canopies. The canopies are made out of mesh fabric and hang from the ceiling onto a child’s crib or bed. They measure about 7 ft. long and about 2 ft. in diameter. The canopy’s name is printed on the washing instructions label sewn onto the bottom of the fabric. [Read more...]
